Check the Battery
If apple watch won’t turn on, the first thing you should do is check the battery. To do this, open watch app on your iPhone and tap on the watch tab From here, tap on General and thenUsage. If your battery is below 30%, you will need to charge it before it will turn on.
Make sure that apple watch has at least a 50% charge.
If your Apple Watch has a low battery and you can’t turn it on, charge it for up to 30 minutes with the USB power adapter. You can check the battery level on your Apple Watch. Once your Apple Watch has enough power to turn on, you need to pair it with your iPhone.
If your Apple Watch has less than a 50% charge, connect it to a charger for at least 30 minutes.
If you can’t turn on your Apple Watch or it doesn’t appear to be charging, force restart your device. To force restart your Apple Watch, press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release when you see the Apple logo.
If your Apple Watch still won’t turn on or charge, take it to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.
Check for Updates
It’s frustrating when your Apple Watch won’t turn on. There are a few things you can try to get it working again. First, check for updates. Make sure your Watch is connected to your iPhone and that you have the latest software update. If you still can’t get your Watch to turn on, try restarting it.
Make sure that your iPhone has the latest version of iOS.
If you can’t update your iPhone, make sure that it’s connected to Wi-Fi, have plenty of storage space left, and that you have the latest version of iOS. If you see a message that says your device is up to date, check the installed version of iOS against the latest version.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap General, then tap About.
Look under Version for the installed iOS version number and compare it to the latest iOS update.
If they match, you need to upgrade your iPhone’s storage or free up space.
Check that your Apple Watch has the latest version of watchOS.
Make sure that your Apple Watch has the latest version of watchOS. To check, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and go to My Watch > General > Software Update.
If you need help updating, try these steps:
-Connect your Apple Watch to its charger.
-Keep your iPhone next to your Apple Watch. Make sure that both devices have Wi-Fi turned on and are connected to the same network.
-On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap My Watch > General > Software Update.
-Tap Download and Install. If a message says that watchOS is up to date, tap Install Tonight or Remind Me Later. If you tapped Install Tonight, connect your watch to its charger before you go to sleep.
-Your watch will update overnight.
Restart Your Apple Watch
If your Apple Watch won’t turn on, there are a few things you can try to fix the issue. First, make sure that your watch is charged. If it is, try restarting your watch by pressing and holding the side button until you see the Apple logo. If that doesn’t work, try force restarting your watch by pressing and holding both the side button and the digital crown for 10 seconds.

Force Restart Your Apple Watch
If your Apple Watch won’t turn on, there are a few things you can try to get it working again. First, try restarting your watch by pressing and holding the side button until the Apple logo appears. If that doesn’t work, you can try force restarting your watch. To do this, press and hold both the side button and the Digital Crown for 10 seconds.
If your Apple Watch doesn’t turn on or isn’t responding
-Make sure that your Apple Watch is charged. Check the battery level on your watch. If necessary, charge it for at least 30 minutes:
-On your iPhone, open the Watch app, tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > Usage > Software Updates. Download any updates that are available, and install them.
-Press and hold the side button on your watch for about 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

If your Apple Watch has a black or blank screen, you might need to force restart your device. A force restart won’t erase the content on your Apple Watch.
You can force restart your Apple Watch if it’s unresponsive, frozen, or having a problem that doesn’t go away. For example, you might need to force restart your watch if an app is frozen and pressing the side button or Digital Crown does nothing.
To force restart your Apple Watch Series 2 or later:
– Press and hold both the side button and the Digital Crown at the same time.
– Keep holding both buttons until you see the Apple logo.
