If your car is on the list and you’re still having problems, the next thing to do is to make sure that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. To do this, open settings app on your iPhone tap general -> Software Update. If there’s an update available, install it and then try using Apple Carplay again.

Another thing to check is if Siri is turned on by going to Settings -> Siri & Search. If Siri is off, turn it on and then try using Apple Carplay again.

If you’ve tried all of these things and you’re still having problems, contact apple support or take your car to a dealership or an authorized repair shop to see if they can help you troubleshoot the problem.

Check if your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS

One of the common reasons why Apple CarPlay is not working is that your iPhone is not updated to the latest iOS. To check this, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. If there is an update available, install it.

Check if CarPlay is turned on

First, make sure that CarPlay is turned on in your vehicle. To do this, press and hold the voice command button on your steering wheel. If you don’t have a voice command button, you may need to go into your vehicle’s settings to turn on CarPlay.

If CarPlay is turned on and you’re still having trouble, try restarting your iPhone. If that doesn’t work, you may need to update your iPhone’s software or your vehicle’s infotainment system.

Check if Do Not Disturb While Driving is turned on

Your iPhone might not be able to connect to Apple CarPlay because Do Not Disturb While Driving is turned on. This feature is designed to prevent distractions while you’re driving, and it will immobilize your iPhone’s ability to connect to CarPlay.

To fix this, open settings app on your iPhone and tap “Do Not Disturb.” Then, make sure that the “Do Not Disturb While Driving” feature is turned off. Once it’s off, try connecting your iPhone to CarPlay again.

Check if Siri is turned on

To use CarPlay, you need to turn on Siri. If you see in the status bar, it means that Siri is off. To turn on Siri, go to Settings > Siri & Search.

If Siri is off, turn on Listen for “Hey Siri” or Press Side Button for Siri. If you want to use a Language other than English, you can change it in the Language section.

Check the volume on your iPhone and in your car

If you’re using your iPhone with CarPlay and having trouble with the audio, make sure that the volume on your iPhone is turned up all the way. You might also need to adjust the volume in your car. To do this, use the volume buttons on your car’s steering wheel or dashboard.

Check if you have a USB cable that’s compatible with your iPhone

First, make sure that your iPhone is running iOS 7.1 or later. Next, check to see if you have a USB cable that’s compatible with your iPhone. If you don’t have a compatible cable, you can buy one from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller.

If you have a compatible cable, but CarPlay still isn’t working, make sure that your Lightning connector is securely plugged into the Lightning port on your iPhone. If it’s not plugged in all the way, CarPlay won’t work.

Check if your iPhone is locked

If you’re having trouble getting Apple Carplay to work, one thing you can try is to check if your iPhone is locked. If your iPhone is locked, it may not be able to connect to Carplay. To check if your iPhone is locked, go to Settings -> General -> passcode lock. If you see a message that says “Passcode Lock is On,” then your iPhone is locked and you’ll need to unlock it before you can use Carplay.

Check if your car’s display is in CarPlay mode

If you’re having trouble getting CarPlay to work in your car, the first thing you should do is check to see if your car’s display is in CarPlay mode. Many car displays will have a mode button or icon that you can press to cycle through the different modes (e.g. Navigation, Phone, etc.). Once you’ve found the CarPlay mode, try connecting your iPhone to see if that fixes the problem.
