Why Isn’t My Apple Music Working?

Check your internet connection

If you’re using cellular data or Wi-Fi and have issues with an Apple Music feature, try using another Wi-Fi network. If you still can’t connect, you might need to contact your Internet service provider or use a different type of connection, like Ethernet.

Check if you have the latest version of iOS

-Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen. If you’re not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID and password.
-Tap View Apple ID and enter your password if prompted. Under Subscriptions, check to see if your Apple Music subscription is listed as Active; If it is listed but there’s start Trial or Resubscribe button next to it, then you have an active subscription; If you don’t see a listing for Apple Music and there’s a Start Trial or Resubscribe button next to it, then either there’s a problem with your payment method or you don’t yet have a paid subscription*.*
