Check if your Watch is connected to the charger correctly
There are a few things you should check if your Watch isn’t charging. First, make sure that your Watch is connected to the charger correctly. If it’s not, the Watch won’t charge. Second, check to see if the charger itself is working properly. To do this, connect the charger to another device, such as your iPhone, and see if it charges that device. If it doesn’t, the problem may be with the charger and not the Watch. Finally, make sure that there is nothing blocking the Watch’s charging port (the small hole on the back of the Watch where you connect the charger). If there is something blocking the port, remove it and try charging again.
Check the port for any debris that might be blocking the connection
Open up the Watch case and take a look at the charging port. It’s possible that there might be some gunk or debris blocking the connection. If you see any, use a can of compressed air to blow it out, or a small, soft-bristled brush to gently clear it away. Don’t use anything sharp to clean out the port, as you might damage it.
Check if the charger is damaged or not working
One of the first things you should do if apple watch isn’t charging is to check the charger. Make sure that the magnetic charging cable is properly connected to your watch and the adapter, and that the adapter is plugged into a power outlet.
If apple watch still isn’t charging, try using a different charger or plugging into a different outlet. If you have apple watch Magnetic Charging Cable (2 m), you can also try using it with the Apple 5W European USB Plug Adapter.
If apple watch won’t charge wirelessly, make sure that you’re using a compatible wireless charger and that your watch is in range of the charger. If you’re not sure which wireless charger to buy, contact apple support
Check your Watch’s battery
It’s easy to check your Watch’s battery level from the watch face. Just swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to open Control Center, then look at the battery percentage.
If you’re not wearing your Watch, the battery may run down due to certain features that are constantly checking for information, or by other background activity on your iPhone. Background activity includes Mail and other apps that refresh themselves so they’re up to date when you open them, such as Weather and Stocks. To see which apps are refreshing in the background, go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
