Why Is My Apple Watch Dying So Fast?

Check for watchOS updates

One of the first and easiest things you can do to help improve your Apple Watch’s battery life is to make sure you have the latest version of watchOS installed. To do this, open watch app on your iPhone and tap General -> Software Update. Your iPhone will check for updates and prompt you to install any that are available.

Check for app updates

One of the first things you should do when you notice apple watch battery life starting to dwindle is to check for any available app updates. Outdated apps can sometimes cause unexpected battery drain, so keeping everything on your Watch current is a good way to prevent any issues.

To check for app updates, open the App Store on your iPhone and tap the Updates tab at the bottom. You should see a list of apps with available updates; just select the Update button next to any that you want to install.

Restart your watch
