Why Is My Apple Car Play Not Working?

Check if your iPhone is running the latest iOS software

Check if your car is compatible with Apple Car Play

First, check to see if your car is compatible with Apple Car Play and that you have the latest version of iOS. If your car is compatible and you have the latest iOS, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on, then pair and connect your iPhone to your car. Check if Car Play is turned on in your car’s display

If you can’t use Car Play, check your car’s display to see if Car Play is turned on. In some cars, might need to go to Settings > General > CarPlay and turn on Allow CarPlay while using locked iPhone.

If you can’use apple carplay make sure that Siri is on. To turn on Siri, do any of the following:

– Press and hold the Home button or the Top button.
– Say “Hey Siri.”

When you see the Siri waveform, it means that Siri is ready to use.
