Why Can’t I Sign Out of My Apple ID?

First, go to Settings and click on the Apple ID at the top. Then, scroll down and click on the “Sign Out” button. If that doesn’t work, try restarting your device and then trying again.

If you’re having trouble signing out of your Apple ID, here are some things you can try:

-Click the “X” next to your Apple ID email address.
-Try signing out from a different browser or device.

If you’re using iOS 11.3 or later, you can go to Settings > [your name], then scroll down and tap Sign Out.

If you’re still having trouble, try resetting your password. To do this, go to the Apple ID website and click “Forgot your password?” Enter your Apple ID and follow the instructions on the screen. Once you’ve reset your password, try signing out again.

Sometimes, after updating your Apple ID information or making changes to your account, you may need to sign out and back in to see the changes take effect. If you can’t sign out of your Apple ID on an iPhone, iPad, ipod touch you can use Settings to remove the account.

If you see a message that says “This action couldn’t be completed. Try again. [error number],” check if there’s anything different about how you’re signing in:
-Make sure that Caps Lock is turned off. Passwords are case sensitive.
-If you have an iCloud Keychain security code, make sure that you’re using the correct code.
-If you have Two-Factor Authentication or Two-Step Verification turned on for your Apple ID, make sure that you enter the correct verification code.
-If you’re using an app specific password, make sure that it’s for Sign in to iCloud and not another service, like iTunes Store or App Store.

Enter your password again and click “Sign Out.” If this doesn’t work, try signing out from iCloud.com on a web browser before signing back in on your device.

You should now be signed out of your Apple ID

1.Open the Settings app.
2.Tap Sign in to your [device].
3.Tap Apple ID.
4.Tap Sign Out.
5.Enter apple id password and tap Turn Off.
6.Tap Sign Out again to confirm that you want to sign out of your Apple ID.
