How to Find Your Lost Apple Watch

If apple watch is lost or stolen, you can find My iPhone to help you track it down.

Check Your Recent Activity

Open the Activity app on your iPhone to see a summary of your recent activity. If your watch is nearby, it will show up at the top of the list. You can also tap Notifications and look for a lost watch alert.

If your watch is further away, you can check to see the last known location. Open the Find My iPhone app and tap Devices. Select your watch from the list. You’ll see its current location on a map and the time it was last located. If the location is too vague, you can zoom in or out, or switch to Satellite view.

If you think your Watch is somewhere close by, you can use Find My iPhone to pinpoint its location. If the Watch is far away,
you can mark it as missing and remotely lock it. And if you believe it’s been stolen, you can suspend your service to prevent anyone from using your cellular plan.

If Location Services is turned on, you can find your Watch on a map. To open Find My iPhone, tap Settings > [your name] > Find My. If asked, sign in with apple id
Tap Devices. If you don’t see your Watch listed, tap All Devices at the top of the screen, then select your Watch from the Devices list.
Select your Watch in the Devices list, then select Actions > Find My [device].
If Location Services is off or if the battery is too low for Find My [device] to work, this feature won’t appear under Actions.

Put Your Watch in Lost Mode

If you think your Watch is lost and you didn’t take it off before you lost it, put it in Lost Mode right away. That way, if someone finds it and tries to use it, they’ll know it’s not theirs and they’ll have to contact you. When you put your Watch in Lost Mode:
-Your Watch is locked with a passcode.
-You can track its location.
-You can display a custom message and contact information on the screen. anyone who finds your Watch will see the information, even if your Watch is offline.
-You can still receive notifications on your Watch, but you won’t get any phone calls, messages, or other types of notifications. If Do Not Disturb is turned on, it stays on.
To put your Watch in Lost Mode:
1. On your iPhone, open apple watch app.
2. Tap My Watch, then tap Passcode. If you don’t have a passcode set up yet, tap Turn Passcode On.
3. Enter a passcode twice, then tap Done when you’re finished or Cancel to cancelLost Mode without turning it on.
4. Tap the watch tab then swipe down tap general > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings > Erase All Contents and Settings > Erase All Contents and Settings to confirm that you want to erase all data from your watch.(All content and settings are erased from your watch when you turn off Lost Mode.)

Erase Your Watch

If you think your Watch is lost for good, you can remotely erase it. That way, if somebody finds it and tries to use it, they won’t be able to get any of your personal information. To do this, go to the watch app on your iPhone and tap “My Watch.” Then tap “All Watches” at the top of the screen and select the watch you want to erase. Finally, tap “Erase Watch” and confirm that you want to proceed.
