If you forgot apple id password there are a few ways you can reset it and regain access to your account. First, try using Apple’s “iforgot” website to reset your password. If that doesn’t work, you contact apple support for further assistance. Finally, if you have two-factor authentication enabled on your account, you can use that to reset your password.
What to Do If You Forget Your Apple ID Password
If you forget your Apple ID password, you can go to the Apple ID website and click “Forgot your Apple ID?” You will then be prompted to enter your Apple ID. Once you have entered your Apple ID, you will be able to reset your password.
Go to iforgot.apple.com
If you use security questions with your Apple ID, or if you don’t have access to a trusted device or phone number, go to iforgot.apple.com.
Enter your Apple ID, then select Continue.
If you enter the wrong email address, you can try again with a different one.
On the next page, select “I need to reset my password” and continue.
Choose how to reset your password:
-Get an email: An email with instructions is sent to the Apple ID that you’re trying to recover; be sure that you have access to that email account. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode and you’ll need to repeat these steps. To speed up the process, try using Wi-Fi.
-Answer security questions: If you’re asked to answer your security questions, they were set up when you first set up your Apple ID and can’t be changed by anyone but you. Try not to get too stressed if this option doesn’t work for you the first time; remember, these are questions only YOU should know!

Select the option to reset your password
If you forget your Apple ID password, you can reset it using the Apple ID account page or the Get Support website.
Resetting your password using the Apple ID account page:
1. Go to appleid.apple.com and click “Forgot your Apple ID?”
2. Enter your first and last name, and email address (which is your Apple ID), and click “Continue.”
3. Select the method you want to use to reset your password — either by email or security questions — and click “Continue.”
4. If you chose to reset your password by email, you’ll receive an email from Apple with instructions on how to reset your password. If you chose to reset your password by answering security questions, you’ll be asked to answer three of them before you can create a new password.
Choose how you want to reset your password
There are three ways to reset your Apple ID password:
If you have an Apple device, such as an iPhone, iPad, ipod touch you can use the device to reset your password.
If you don’t have an Apple device or can’t sign in to your account on one, you can use your email address that’s on file with Apple to reset your password. This might be the primary email address that you entered when you created your Apple ID, or an alternate email address that you added to your account.
