How to Find Your Apple ID
Your Apple ID is the account you use to sign in to all Apple services. If you’ve forgotten your Apple ID, you can look it up.
On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Open the Settings app. Tap your name. Tap “Sign in to your iPhone.” If you’re already signed in with your Apple ID, you’ll see it here.
On an iPhone with Face ID, double-click the Side button, then look at your iPhone or iPad. On an iPhone with Touch ID, double-click the Home button, then look at your iPhone or iPad. You might be asked to enter your passcode or confirm your decision with Touch ID or Face ID.
On a Mac or PC
1. Open the Apple support website. You can go to the Apple ID page by clicking this link, or by typing “Apple ID” into the search bar on Apple’s support website and then clicking the first result.
2. Click “Forgot your Apple ID?” This link is below the text fields on the right side of the page.
3. Enter your first and last name as well as your current email address into the appropriate text fields. Make sure that you enter the email address that you used to create your Apple ID. If you don’t remember which email address you used, click “Look it up.”
4. Click “Continue.” It’s a blue button below the text fields.
5. Review your information. If everything looks correct, click Continue again.
6. Select how you want to reset your password. You can choose to have a reset link emailed to you, or you can answer your security questions and then create a new password from there.

How to Reset Your Apple ID Password
If you forgot apple id password you can reset it from Apple’s website. You’ll need to provide some personal information, such as your name and address, to verify your identity. Once you reset your password, you can use it to sign in to your Apple ID account and make changes to your account information.
On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up.
Open the Settings app. Tap [your name], then tap iTunes & App Store. If you’re signed in with your Apple ID, you’ll see it here.
If you’re using iOS 10.3 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud. If you’re signed in with your Apple ID, you’ll see it here.
On the next screen, tap Forgot Apple ID or Password.
If you can’t remember your password, you can reset it from your device or from Apple’s website.
On a Mac or PC
If you forgot apple id password or want to change it, follow these steps.
1. Go to iforgot.apple.com.
2. Enter your Apple ID, then click Continue.
3. Choose the type of reset you want:
-If you have an account with security questions, select “Answer security questions” and follow the instructions on the screen.
-If you don’t have security questions, select “Get an email.”
4. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete the sign in flow.*
5. You’ll see a message that says your password is updated.
How to Recover Your Apple ID
If you forget your Apple ID, you can go to the Apple ID account page and click “Forgot your Apple ID?” You will be taken to a page where you can enter your first name, last name, and email address. Apple will send you an email with your Apple ID.
If you use two-factor authentication
If you forgot your password and you’re signed in to your device with your Apple ID, follow these steps to reset it.
Tap Settings > [your name], then tap Password & Security.
If you have a device that’s using iOS 11 or later, tap Change Password. If you have a device that’s using iOS 10.3 or earlier, tap Change Password.
Enter your new password, then tap Change or Change Password.
If you use two-factor authentication
If you forgot apple id password and you have two-factor authentication enabled, you can reset your password from any trusted Apple device.* Just make sure that the device is running iOS 9 or later orMacOS El Capitanor later. If you don’t have access to any of your trusted devices, use these steps to verify your identity with Apple Support and reset your password.
* To use two-factor authentication with apple watch your devices must be running iOS 8.3 or later and watchOS 2.2 or later.
If you don’t use two-factor authentication
If you’re not using two-factor authentication, you can change apple id password from any web browser. Here’s how:
-Open your Apple ID account page.
-Click “Change Password.”
-Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
-Click “Change Password.”
