For all other workouts, including those without GPS that use an estimated calorie burn rate based on weight and sex (like walking), Apple Watch tracks all movement that equals or exceeds the intensity of a brisk walk.

Set a goal

Apple Watch measures all the ways you move throughout the day and encourages you to do more, whether that means taking the stairs instead of the escalator or going for a run instead of sitting on the couch.
