How to Watch Apple TV on Your Mac

You watch apple tv on your Mac without buying a new Apple TV. All you need is the Apple TV app and to follow these directions.

Open the App Store.

Open the App Store on your Mac. Click the magnifying glass in the upper-right corner of the screen and type “Apple TV” into the search bar. Select Apple TV from the list of results.

Click Get, then click Install App. Enter apple id password when prompted, then click Install Software. Once the installation is complete, launch Apple TV from your Mac’s dock.

Sign in with apple id when prompted. You may be asked to enter a verification code if you have two-factor authentication enabled for apple id If you don’t have two-factor authentication enabled, you’ll be asked to enter a recovery key.

When you find the Apple TV app, click “Get” then “Install.” Once it’s done installing, open the app. You should see the familiar interface from your fourth or fifth-generation Apple TV. If you don’t see it, try restarting your Mac.

After you open the app, sign in with apple id This is the same Apple ID that you use for iTunes, the App Store, iCloud, and other Apple services. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one from scratch or use an existing email address to create a icloud account

Once you’re signed in, click on any of the featured shows or movies start watching. Alternatively, if you know what you want to watch already, click on either the “Library” tab at the top of the screen to watch something you’ve already purchased or rented from iTunes, or click on the “Store” tab to buy or rent something new.

Click on the “Get” button next to the Apple TV app.

When you find the Apple TV app, click on the “Get” button next to it. This will download and install the app on your Mac. Once it’s finished, you can find the app in your Applications folder.

Wait for the Apple TV app to download and install.

If you don’t see the Apple TV app on your Mac, make sure that your computer meets the system requirements for the app.

When the installation is complete, open the app from your Applications folder.

Open the Apple TV app.

Open the Apple TV app on your Mac. The app icon looks like a multicolored tv. You can find it in your Applications folder, or use Spotlight to search for it.

Click the TV tab at the top of the Apple TV window.

Click Library at the top of the window.

Click a category to browse content, then click WATCH NOW to play a show or movie, or click GET to download it.

Click on the “Sign In” button.

Click on the “Sign In” button. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted, then click on the “Sign In” button again. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one by clicking on the “Create New Apple ID” button.

Once you’re signed in, click on the “Settings” icon.

Scroll down and click on the “Apple TV” entry.

Click on the “Open iTunes” button.

iTunes will now launch and you should see the interface for interacting with your Apple TV.

Enter your Apple ID and password.

On your Mac, open the App Store.
Click the Sign In button in the lower-left corner of the window.
Enter your Apple ID and password, then click Sign In.

Click on the “Rent” or “Buy” button next to the movie or TV show you want to watch.

After you click on either the “Rent” or “Buy” button, you’ll be prompted to sign in with your Apple ID. Once you’re signed in, you can choose to rent or buy the movie or TV show. If you’re renting a movie, you have 30 days to start watching it and 48 hours to finish watching it once you’ve started. If you’re buying a movie or TV show, it’s yours to keep and watch anytime.

Wait for the movie or TV show to start playing.

Once you’ve selected something to watch, it will start playing automatically. If it doesn’t, simply click on the play button.
