How to Verify Your Apple ID

Here’s how you can verify apple id which is required for some actions like downloading apps, making purchases, and accessing iCloud.

Go to Appleid.apple.com

Go to Appleid.apple.com and sign in with apple id and password. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete sign in.

On the Security section of your Apple ID account page, click “Edit.”
On the Edit page, click “Add a Trusted Phone number.”
Enter a phone number where you can be reached, then click Verify. To verify that you own this number, Apple will send a code to that phone number. Enter the verification code on your iPhone, iPad, ipod touch with iOS 10 or later:
On the Security section of your Apple ID account page, select “Edit.” If asked for your device passcode or password, enter it.
Tap Add a Trusted Phone Number, then enter the phone number you want to add. Wait for a verification code to be sent to your phone number: Open Messages and find the verification code from Apple. Enter the code on your other device to complete sign in.*

If you can’t receive SMS messages on your new device, you can try to verify your Apple ID by email instead:
On the Security section of your Apple ID account page, select “Edit.” If asked for your device passcode or password, enter it.
Tap Add a Trusted Email Address and enter the email address you want to use.* Wait for a verification code to be sent to your email: Open Mail and find the verification code from Apple in inbox of that email account. Enter the code on yur other device ton complete sign in.*

Enter your Apple ID

If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up.

When you’re asked to enter your Apple ID, click “If you forgot your Apple ID”, and you can look it up.

If you use two-factor authentication, you need a trusted device or trusted phone number to reset your password and unlock your account. If you don’t have a trusted device or phone number, go to iforgot.apple.com.

Enter the password for your Apple ID

You can sign in with the Apple ID that you use with your Apple Store account, or icloud account If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create a new Apple ID.

If you’re using an iCloud calendar, contacts, or reminders, you might need to enter the password for your iCloud account to continue.

If you don’t remember your password, you can reset it.

Click Sign In

Click Sign In. You might be asked to enter your Apple ID and password.

If you see a message that says, “We’re sorry, we couldn’t find an Apple ID with that name,” check your spelling and try again. If you still can’t sign in, reset your password or contact us.

Click Continue

Click Continue. You might be asked to enter your password use touch id

Click Verify

If you’re asked to verify your Apple ID, there are a few ways you can do it.

On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10.3 or later:
– Tap Settings > [your name].
– If your Apple ID is already verified, you’ll see “Verified” next to your Apple ID. If your Apple ID isn’t verified, you’ll see “Not Verified.”
– Tap Verify Now. If you don’t see Verify Now,contact apple support

On a Mac with macOS Catalina 10.15 or later:
– Choose Apple menu > System Preferences > Apple ID. Click Overview in the sidebar. If your Apple ID is verified, you’ll see “Verified” next to your Apple ID. If your Apple ID isn’t verified, you’ll see “Not Verified.”
– Click Verify now. If you don’t see Verify now,contact apple support

Enter the verification code

Once you receive the verification code, enter it on the Apple ID Verification page. If you can’t sign in or you receive a message that the account is locked when you try to sign in, try these steps:

If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10.3 or later:
-Go to Settings > [your name]. Tap Password & Security. Under Verification Code, tap Turn Off.
-If you’re using an older device, go to Settings > iCloud > tap your Apple ID > Password & Security > Change Password. Tap Turn Off.

If you have an iPhone 6s or later, and can’t sign in with Touch ID, enter your password instead of using Touch ID. Then verify your identity with the verification code that’s sent to your other devices.

Click Verify

Verifying your Apple ID allows you to access Apple services such as the App Store, iCloud, iTunes, and more. It also helps keep your account secure by ensuring that only you can access your account information.

To verify your Apple ID, click the “Verify” button on the Apple ID website. You’ll be asked to enter your Apple ID and password. Once you’ve entered this information, click “verify.”
