Open the Watch app on your iPhone.

When you want to pay for something, double-click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch within a few centimeters of the contactless reader. You’ll feel a gentle tap when your payment is successful.

To start using Apple Pay on your Apple Watch, you first need to set it up.

Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

With Apple Watch, you use apple pay to make purchases in stores, in apps, and online. And now you can use Apple Pay with your iPhone to pay without touching your iPhone.

To pay with Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the display of your Watch up to the contactless reader. You don’t even need to wake your Watch or unlock it. When you see Done and a checkmark on the display, you know your payment was successful.

If you have an iPhone 6 or later and you’re using iOS 11 or later, you can add up to 12 credit or debit cards to your Wallet. Your iPhone must be turned on, but it doesn’t need to be connected to cellular or Wi-Fi. To add a card on your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap + followed by continue. If you’re asked to add the card that you use with apple id cards on other devices such as iPad or iPod touch, or Mac, you will be prompted to enter the card security code.

Tap Add Credit or Debit Card.

When you first set up your Apple Watch, you’re prompted to add a card. You can also add cards later from the Wallet app on your iPhone:

After you enter your card information, tap Next. Your bank or card issuer verifies your information and decides if you can use your card with Apple Pay. If your bank or issuer needs more information to verify your card, they’ll ask for it during registration.

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

Tap Add Credit or Debit Card, then position your card in front of your camera. If you’re having trouble scanning your card, tap Enter Card Details Manually.

Tap Next.

On your iPhone, open the Settings app, then tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
Tap Add Credit or Debit Card, then follow the instructions on your screen to add a new card. If you’re asked to add the card that you use with your Apple ID, cards on other devices, or cards that you’ve recently removed, choose them, then enter the card security codes.
After you add a card, tap Next.

On your Apple Watch, open the Wallet app. If you’re asked to set up Apple Pay, choose a card. If you’re asked to confirm your identity with Face ID or Touch ID, double-click the side button and hold your watch up to your face, or enter your passcode.
When you’re asked to sign in with Touch ID or Face ID on your iPhone, double-click the side button and hold your watch up to your face. Or enter your passcode on your iPhone.

Enter the security code for your credit or debit card.

To use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch, you will need to enter the security code for your credit or debit card. You can do this by tapping on the “Settings” icon on your watch face, then scrolling down to the “Wallet & Apple Pay” section and tapping on the “Add Credit or Debit Card” option.

Once you have entered your security code, you will be able to use Apple Pay anywhere that accepts contactless payments. To pay for something, simply hold your watch up to the contactless payment terminal and double-tap the side button when prompted.

Tap Done.

The process of setting up Apple Pay on your Watch is pretty similar to setting it up on your iPhone. You’ll need to add your credit or debit cards to the Wallet app on your Watch first, and then you can start using Apple Pay.

To add a card, open the Wallet app on your Watch and tap the + sign in the top-right corner. From there, you can use your iPhone’s camera to scan your card’s information or manually enter it. Once you’ve added a card, you can start using Apple Pay.

To pay for something with Apple Pay, double-click the side button on your Watch and hold the Watch close to the contactless reader. You’ll feel a tap when your payment goes through. That’s it!

You can also use Apple Pay to make purchases in apps or online. To do this, just choose Apple Pay as your payment method at checkout and authenticate with Touch ID or Face ID on your iPhone or iPad.
