Introduction
In order use apple pay in store, you will need an iPhone 6 or later that is running iOS 8.1 or higher. You will also need to make sure that you have a credit or debit card from a participating bank in your Wallet. If you’re not sure whether or not your bank participates in Apple Pay, you can check the list of participating banks on Apple’s website.
Once you have everything set up, using Apple Pay in store is easy. To pay, just hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. You’ll know the payment has gone through when you see Done and a checkmark on the display. That’s it!

Setting up Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a contactless payment method that allows you to make purchases with your iPhone, iPad,apple watch or MacBook. You use apple pay in stores, apps, and on websites. use apple pay in store, you must have an iPhone 6 or later with iOS 8.1 or later, or an Apple Watch with watchOS 2.0 or later. You will also need to have a credit or debit card from a participating bank. When you are ready to pay, hold your device near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. You will see Done and a checkmark on the screen when your payment is successful.
If you are using an iPhone 6 or 7, you may also be asked to enter a PIN for additional security. If you are using an iPhone 8 or later, double-click the side button and hold the iPhone near the contactless reader to pay. With Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the watch display up to the contactless reader. You can also use Siri to pay with Apple Pay. Just say “Hey Siri, pay with Apple Pay” when you are ready to checkout.
How use apple pay in Stores
When you’re shopping in a store that accepts Apple Pay, just look for the Apple Pay or contactless payments symbol at the checkout. To pay, hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. You might need to sign a receipt or enter your PIN.
If you’re using an iPhone 6 or later, you can also pay with Apple Watch. Just double-click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch up to the contactless reader. If you’re paying with Apple Watch and you’re also using a Mac, iPad, or iPhone 6 or later, you can approve payments with your device instead of your passcode.

If you have an iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR and don’t see an option to use Face ID for authentication when using Apple Pay in stores, make sure that Require Attention for Face ID is turned off in Settings > Face ID & Passcode.

How to Use Apple Pay Online
Apple Pay is a convenient way to pay for goods and services both in store and online. In order to use Apple Pay, you’ll need an iPhone 6 or later with iOS 8.1 or later, or an iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad mini 3 or later with iOS 8.1 or later. You’ll also need to have a credit or debit card from a participating bank.
To use Apple Pay in store, simply hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. To use Apple Pay online, select Apple Pay as your payment method at checkout and complete the transaction with Touch ID or Face ID. You can also use Apple Pay in apps by selecting the Apple Pay button at checkout and completing the transaction with Touch ID or Face ID.

You may be asked to enter your PIN code on the reader’s keypad if it’s your first time using that particular card on that device.

Troubleshooting Apple Pay
If you’re having trouble using Apple Pay in store, there are a few things you can check.
First, make sure that your device is supported. Apple Pay in store is currently available on iPhone 6s or later and iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad mini 3 or later.
If you’re using an iPhone, you’ll also need to make sure that Touch ID is set up and working properly. To do this, open the Settings app and tap Touch ID & Passcode. If you see an option to add a fingerprint, Touch ID isn’t set up yet.
If Touch ID is set up, try placing your finger on the Touch ID sensor and holding it there until you see the confirmation that Apple Pay is ready to use.
If you’re still having trouble, contact your bank or credit card issuer to make sure that your card is supported by Apple Pay.
