You also need:
-An supported Apple computer with macOS 10.11 or later

Set up

Now that you have your new Apple mouse, it’s time to set it up.

start locate the receiver that came with your mouse. This is a small, round device that plugs into your computer’s USB port. If you have a Bluetooth-enabled Mac, you can pair your mouse without using the receiver.

Next, insert two AAA batteries into the mouse. If you are using a Bluetooth-enabled Mac, you won’t need batteries.

Once the batteries are in place, turn on the mouse by pressing the power button on the bottom. The power button is a small, round button located near the front of the mouse. If you don’t see a power button, that means your mouse doesn’t use batteries.

If you’re using a Bluetooth-enabled Mac, make sure Bluetooth is turned on. You can do this by clicking the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and selecting Turn Bluetooth On.

Now it’s time to connect the receiver to your computer. To do this, plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.

Once everything is plugged in and turned on, your Apple mouse should be working properly!
