Using apple watch is straightforward and intuitive. Simply wake your Watch by raising your wrist or tapping the display, then wait for the login screen to appear. If you’re already logged in to your iPhone, you’ll be automatically logged in to your Watch. Otherwise, you’ll need to enter your passcode. To navigate the Watch interface, use the crown located on the side of the device. This will allow you to scroll through lists and apps. To select an item, simply tap it.

How to Use the Watch

apple watch is a smartwatch that was first introduced by Apple in 2015. It has many features that allow you to do things like track your fitness, pay for things, and stay connected to your friends and family. In this article, we’ll show you how to use the watch and all of its features.

Checking the Time

It may seem silly, but one of the most common questions we get is “how do I check the time on my Apple Watch?” After all, that’s one of the whole point of wearing a watch in the first place.

Fortunately, checking the time on your Apple Watch is easy — just do a quick raise of your wrist, and the time will appear on the screen. If you want to keep the display on for an extended period of time (say, if you’re using it as a bedside clock), you can tap the display to keep it turned on.

You can also customize how long the display stays on after you’ve raised your wrist or tapped it; to do so, open the Settings app on your Apple Watch, then go to General -> Activate On Raise. From there, you can choose between 1 Minute, 3 Minutes, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, or 15 Minutes.

Customizing Your Watch Face

Your watch face is the window into your day. Apple Watch comes with a variety of faces, and you can customize them however you like. Once you’ve decided on a watch face, you can add complications—small bits of information that help you complete common tasks, such as checking the weather or your calendar. You can also add, remove, and rearrange the complications on your watch face using watch app on your iPhone.

To customize your watch face:
1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
2. Tap the watch tab then tap Faces.
3. Under Customize, tap Create New.
4. Choose a template, then tap Next.
5. To add complications, tap Add Complication. To remove a complication, tap the X next to it. To rearrange complications, touch and hold a complication, then drag it to a new location.
6. When you’re finished customizing your watch face, tap Done.

Adding and Managing Apps

There are two ways to add and manage apps on your Apple Watch: using the Watch app on your iPhone or directly on the watch.

To add and manage apps using the Watch app on your iPhone:
1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the My Watch tab.
3. Scroll down to Available Apps and tap Install.
4. Or, browse apps in the App Store and tap Get to download them to your watch.
5. Once an app is installed, you can move it around, organize it in folders, or delete it right from the My Watch tab. Justtap Edit, then use the icons next to each app to do what you want.

To add and manage apps directly on your watch:
1. Press the Digital Crown to go to the Home screen, then tap App Store.
2. Browse by featured apps or tap Search to find something specific. Once you’ve found an app you want, tap GET, then INSTALL if prompted; or tap BUY if it’s a paid app (you might need to confirm apple id with Touch ID or enter your password). Any compatible complications for that app appear along with Install; just tap one or more of them to install as well (you can also install complications later from the Watch face Gallery). The app installs; when it’s done you might get a notification that it has new complications you can set up; just swipe left and tap Configure so you don’t miss out! If there aren’t any complications available when you install an app, don’t worry—the developer may add support later on without having to update the entire app itself; watchOS will let you know automatically if this happens (and again, you can find out by checking in Watch face Gallery).
