If you’re using an Apple Pencil with an iPad Pro, simply remove the cap and plug the Apple Pencil into the Lightning connector on your iPad Pro. Once it’s plugged in, the Apple Pencil will pair automatically with your iPad Pro.
If you’re using an Apple Pencil with another compatible Apple tablet, such as an iPad Air or iPad mini, you’ll need to connect the Apple Pencil to your device using Bluetooth. Checking the Battery Level
