Learn how to update apple watch by following these simple steps. This guide will show you everything you need to know about updating your Watch, including what software to use and how to install it.

Open watch app on your iPhone.
If a watch face update is available, you’ll see a button labeled Update next to it. If an app needs to be updated, you’ll see an Update button next to it.
To install an update for a watch face:
1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Scroll down to the Available Updates section and tap Update next to the watch face that you want to update.
3. If asked, enter apple id password.
4. When the update has finished installing, tap Done.
To install an update for an app:
1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone and scroll down to the Available Updates section.
2. Tap Update next to the app that you want to update, then tap Install when prompted.
3. If asked, enter apple id password and wait for the app to finish downloading and installing onto your watch
Tap the watch tab
If an update is available, you’ll see an option to update your carrier settings. To check for a carrier settings update:
1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > About.
3. If an update is available, you’ll see an option to update your carrier settings.
Tap General > Software Update.
If a new version of watchOS is available, you’ll be prompted to install it. To install the update, you’ll need to connect your watch to its charger and have your iPhone nearby. Once the update has been downloaded and installed, your watch will restart on its own.
Download and install any updates.
1. Connect apple watch to its charger and make sure that it has at least 50% battery power.
2. On your iPhone, open apple watch app and tap the My Watch tab.
3. Tap General > Software Update.
4. Tap Download and Install, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the update. If you’re prompted for a passcode, enter it on your Apple Watch or iPhone.
