How to Unsubscribe from Apple Music

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber and you want to cancel your subscription, here’s how to do it on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC.

Open the Music app.

Open the Music app. If you’re not signed in, sign in with apple id

Tap the Listen Now icon at the bottom of the screen.

Tap your profile photo or initials in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Tap View Account. You might be asked to enter your password or use Touch ID or Face ID.

On an iPhone, tap Subscriptions; on an iPad, tap Membership.
If you don’t see a subscription in iTunes and are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID. If so, contact Apple Support
Click Edit next to the subscription that you want to manage.

If you don’t see Edit, click Cancel Subscription first, then click Edit and update your information.

To cancel your subscription on a Mac or PC: Open iTunes and go to your Account Information page. Scroll to Settings and click Manage next to Subscriptions Click Edit next to the subscription you want to manage

To resubscribe, click Subscribe next to the subscription that you want to manage.”

Tap the For You icon.

When you want to unsubscribe from Apple Music, just follow the steps below. If you’re using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touchTap the For You icon. Scroll to the bottom and tap View Account. Tap Manage Membership. If you’re using an Android deviceOpen the Apple Music app. Tap the menu icon > View Account. Tap Manage Membership.

On the web
Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID and password. Scroll to Subscriptions, then click Manage. If you don’t see a subscriptions section, click Edit in the top right corner of the screen, then click Subscriptions. Click Cancel Subscription, then click Confirm cancellation of subscription plan to confirm your change.

Tap your profile icon.

In the Music app on your iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or Android device, tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner.

On your Mac, open the Music app and click For You in the sidebar. Click or tap your profile icon in the upper-left corner.

On your PC, open iTunes for Windows, choose Account > View My Account from the menu bar at the top of your screen or iTunes window, then click “View Account.”

Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Open the Music app.
At the bottom of your screen, tap Account. Or in iTunes for Windows, choose Account > View My Account.
On the Account Settings screen, tap Manage Subscriptions.
Tap the subscription that you want to manage, then use the options to manage your subscription.

You can also cancel subscriptions in the App Store on your Mac. Just open the App Store app, sign in with your Apple ID (if you’re not already signed in), click on your name, and click View Information at the top of the screen. Scroll until you see Subscriptions, then click Manage. Select apple music subscription and click Edit > Cancel Subscription.

Under Subscriptions, tap Manage.

If you bought a subscription using an app from the App Store, you might need to cancel it from the App Store.

Cancel your subscription
To cancel your Apple Music subscription, go to Settings > Music on your device, then tap Membership. If you don’t see a Membership option, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID and check to see if Family Sharing is turned on.
Under Subscriptions, tap Apple Music Membership.
Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see the option to cancel your subscription, it might be billed through someone other than Apple. In this case, contact the content publisher or app developer directly to cancel your subscription.

If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID.

If you don’t see a subscription in iTunes and you’re still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID. If so, you might have subscribed directly with the provider and not through iTunes. In this case, contact the content publisher or app developer directly to cancel your subscription. If you can’t remember the password to that Apple ID, we can help.

Tap the subscription that you want to manage.

If you’re being charged for a subscription, but don’t see it in your list of subscriptions, it might be billed through someone other than Apple. Or it might be listed under the Apple ID that was used start the subscription. To see all subscriptions belonging to an Apple ID, sign in with that ID.

Tap the subscription that you want to manage. If you don’t see a subscription in iTunes and suspect that you were billed through someone other than Apple,contact apple support

On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Open the Settings app. Tap your name at the top of the screen, then tap Subscriptions. (If you don’t see “Subscriptions,” tap “iTunes & App Store” instead. Then tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen tap view apple id > Subscriptions.) Tap the subscription that you want to manage. Use the options to manage your subscription.

On a Mac:
Open iTunes and go to Music > Preferences > Accounts (Mac), then click View Account (Mac). Enter your password and click Sign In (Mac), then click View Account again(Mac). On the Account Information page: If you have only one active subscription and no other iTunes Store purchases or rentals, select “Subscriptions.” Otherwise, select “Settings” to view all subscriptions for that account. If prompted for a verification code, type in the code or click Allow if prompted on your device. Click Edit beside any subscription to change or cancel it; or click Cancel All Cancels all subscriptions associated with that account; changes take effect with your next billing cycle To see only active subscriptions-in case some have already been canceled-select Only Active from Subscription Type dropdown menu; prices are prorated based on when they were first Charged

Use the options to manage your subscription.

If you need to manage your subscription, Apple Music provides a few options. You can choose to cancel your subscription completely, or you can downgrade to the Free plan that offers limited features.

To cancel your Apple Music subscription:

1. Open the Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
2. Tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner.
3. Tap View Account. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
4. Scroll down and tap Subscriptions.
5. Tap Apple Music Membership.

If you still can’t view your subscription and you signed up inside an app or iTunes and not through a third-party provider,contact apple support

If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle. If you cancel during a free trial period, you might lose access to content immediately.
