How to Unpair Your Apple Watch

Apple Watch is a great device, but sometimes you just need to take a break from it. Here’s how to unpair apple watch and give yourself a break.

Open watch app on your iPhone.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone.

Tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen.

Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair, then tap Unpair [Watch].

For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan. If you decide to keep it, apple watch will remain paired to your iPhone and you can still make and receive calls and texts, and use other data services on your watch.

Tap Unpair to continue.

Tap the My Watch tab.

1. Tap the My Watch tab.
2. Tap your watch at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Unpair Apple Watch.
4. For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan. If you keep your plan, your phone number will stay the same and you can use it with your new Apple Watch.
5. Tap Unpair [your watch].
6. Enter apple id password and tap Erase if prompted, then tap Erase All Content and Settings to confirm.

Scroll to the bottom and tap the Unpair Apple Watch button.

Once you unpair your Apple Watch, you will need to set it up again as if it were new. If you plan on giving your Apple Watch to someone else, or selling it, you should unpair it from your iPhone first. Otherwise, all of your personal data will stay on the watch.

Here’s how to unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone:

Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap the My Watch tab.
Tap the watch that you want to unpair at the top of the screen. If you don’t see your watch listed, tap Add a new Apple Watch.
Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair, then tap Unpair Apple Watch.
If asked, enter apple id password
Tap Unpair.

Enter apple id password to confirm.

If you have an Apple Watch and iPhone, they’re designed to work together. To use your Apple Watch, you need to pair it with your iPhone. And if you want to unpair your devices, you need to enter apple id password to confirm.

Tap Unpair.

If you decide that you no longer want to use your Apple Watch, you can unpair it from your iPhone. This will erase all of your data and settings from the watch.

Before you begin, make sure that you have backed up your Apple Watch. You can do this by opening the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tapping “My Watch.” Then, tap “General” and “Backup.”

Once you have backed up your watch, follow these steps to unpair it:

1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Tap “My Watch.”
3. Tap “General.”
4. Tap “Reset.”
5. Tap “Erase All Content and Settings.”
6. Enter your passcode when prompted and tap “Erase All.”
7. tap “Unpair Apple Watch.”
