How to Unpair Your Apple Watch from Your Old Phone

How to unpair apple watch from your old iPhone and pair it with your new iPhone.

Open watch app on your new iPhone.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone, then tap the watch tab

Tap your watch at the top of the screen, then tap apple watch

If you backed up your old Apple Watch to iPhone, you can restore it to your new iPhone. Otherwise, you’ll need to set up your Apple Watch from scratch.

Tap the My Watch tab.

On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen. Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair, tap unpair apple watch For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan. If you want to pair your watch with a new iPhone, you need to unpair it first.

Tap your watch at the top of the screen.

In the Watch app on your iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen.

Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair.

Tap Unpair Watch. For GPS + Cellular models, you’ll need to enter your passcode.

Tap again to confirm.

Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair.

If you’re getting a new iPhone, might want to keep your Apple Watch and pair it with your new device. Or you might want to gift your Apple Watch to someone, or sell it. Whatever the case, you’ll need to unpair it from your current iPhone first. Here’s how!

Tap Unpair Apple Watch.

On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen. Tap the info button , then tap Unpair Apple Watch. For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan. If you want to continue using cellular, tap Keep Plan.

Enter your passcode, then tap Yes to confirm that you want to unpair your devices.

If you backed up your Apple Watch to iCloud before you paired it with your new iPhone, you can restore it after you unpair it. Just pair it again with your new iPhone.

For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan.

If your Apple Watch has cellular, you can choose to keep or remove your cellular plan.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > About. Scroll down, then tap the information next to Software Version.
2. Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
3. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.
4. On your iPhone, open the Watch app. Make sure that My Watch is selected, then tap General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
5. When asked if you want to keep or remove your cellular plan, tap Keep Plan. If you changed your mind and want to remove it later, you can always add it back in the same way that you would add it to any other watch.
6. Enter apple id password, then tap Erase Everything.

Tap again to confirm.

Now that you’ve got your new iPhone, you’ll want to transfer all of your data and settings from your old iPhone to your new one. If you have an Apple Watch, you’ll need to unpair it from your old iPhone before you can pair it with your new one. Here’s how to do it:

1. On your old iPhone, open the Watch app.

2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap the Apple Watch that you want to unpair.

3. Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair, then tap Unpair Apple Watch.

4. Tap again to confirm that you want to unpair your watch.
