How to Unlock Your Apple Watch

Open watch app on your iPhone.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone. Select the watch tab then tap Passcode. If you’re using Touch ID or Face ID and you’re prompted for your passcode, enter it to continue.

Tap Turn Passcode On. Enter a passcode, then enter it again to verify.

When you set up a passcode, you’ll be asked if you want to use a simple passcode. With a simple passcode, you can enter any four digit code to unlock your watch. If you have a complex passcode turned on, you’ll need to enter a longer code made up of numbers, letters, and special characters.

Tap the My Watch tab.

If you can’t see the My Watch tab, tap the Watch app icon on your Home screen, then swipe up until you see it.

Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Passcode. If you’ve never set a passcode, tap Turn Passcode On. If you’ve already set a passcode and want to change it, tap Change Passcode, then enter your current passcode.
