How to Unlock Your Apple ID

Go to iforgot.apple.com.

If you can’t remember your password, you can reset it using the web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. If you can’t do that, you’ll need to use another device with a web browser or Apple’s support site.

If you have two-factor authentication enabled for your Apple ID, you can reset your password from any trusted device that’s signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID. If you don’t have two-factor authentication turned on, you’ll need to use another device with a web browser or Apple’s support site.

Enter your Apple ID.

If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up.

If you have an account with multiple Apple IDs, you might be asked to enter the one that you want to use with iCloud.

The Apple ID that you use for iCloud is the same as the Apple ID that you use for the App Store, iTunes Store, iMessage, FaceTime, and other services. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one.

Choose the option to reset your password.

If you’re having trouble signing in with apple id password you can reset it using the web browser on your iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or Mac.

If you can’t reset your password because you don’t have access to any of your trusted devices or phone numbers, go to iforgot.apple.com.

On the website, enter your Apple ID, then select Continue. Choose the option to reset your password, then select Continue.

Follow the instructions on the next page to reset your password.

Select Continue.

In the meantime, you can use these steps to reset apple id password

1. Go to iforgot.apple.com.
2. Enter your Apple ID, then select Continue.
3. If you see a message that says your account is locked or disabled, or that your password needs to be updated, select Try Again later. If you see a message that says “We’re sorry, but we are unable to complete your request at this time,”contact apple support
4. Choose one of the following:
-If you have a rescue email address or security questions set up, select Reset Your Password and follow the onscreen instructions.
-If you don’t have a rescue email address or security questions set up, select Forgot Your Password? and follow the onscreen instructions to verify your identity using either a trusted device or phone number and reset your password.*

Answer your security questions.

You can reset your Apple ID password by answering your security questions.

If you don’t have access to your Apple ID security questions, or if you don’t know them, you can reset your password using your email address:

If you’re using iOS 11.3 or later on your iPhone, you start the process of resetting your Apple ID password by visiting
https://iforgot.apple.com on a mobile device or computer that’s already signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID. If you’re signed out of iCloud, enter your Apple ID and password, then tap Sign In.

If you’re asked to enter your Apple ID password, click “Forgot password” and follow the instructions. You might be asked to answer security questions or use Two-Factor Authentication.

If you see a message that says your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes Store,contact apple support

Select Reset Password.

If you’ve forgotten your Apple ID password, you can reset it using the Apple ID account page.

Before you begin
Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes on your Mac or PC.
On your iOS device, make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID, and that Find My [device] is turned on.

How to reset your password

Go to iforgot.apple.com.
Enter your Apple ID in the text field, then select Continue.
If you see a message that says “Account locked for security reasons,” go to When your Apple ID is locked or disabled and follow the instructions under the heading “How to unlock your Apple ID.”
Choose how to reset your password:

-Get an email: An email containing a verification code will be sent to the primary or rescue email address associated with your Apple ID. Enter the verification code in the text field provided, then select Continue.

-Answer security questions: If you set up security questions when you created your Apple ID, enter the answers to as many questions as possible, then select Continue until you see the message “If you don’t have a rescue email address or forgot your answers, contact support.” If prompted for additional information about yourself, fill it out until you see the message “Account information verified.”

-Get verified by another contact method: If available in your country or region, choose from one of these other options:

Send a notification to another device signed in with this Apple ID

Answer security questions from another device signed in with this APple ID

Follow the instructions to create a new password.

If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up. If you forgot the password for your Apple ID account, or if you have other login issues, follow these steps.
