If you’ve forgotten apple id or don’t know the password for it, you can use these steps to reset it.

First, try going to Apple’s website and clicking on the “Forgot your Apple ID?” link. You’ll be asked to enter your first and last name, as well as your email address. If you have an account associated with that email address, you’ll get an email from Apple with instructions on how to reset your password.

If that doesn’t work, or you don’t have an email address associated with your Apple ID, you can try resetting your password using one of the security questions that you set up when you first created your account.

If you can’t remember your security questions, or don’t have access to the email address that’s associated with your Apple ID, you contact apple support for help.

What is an Apple ID?

An Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, iCloud,Messages, and more. It includes the email address and password that you use to sign in, as well as all the contact, payment, and security details that you’ll use across Apple services.

How to Create an Apple ID

You can create an Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad,ipod touch Mac, or PC.

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later:
-Go to Settings > [your name].
-Tap Password & Security > Get Verification Code. If you can’t see Password & Security, tap Edit (on your iOS device) or the edit button (on your Mac), then tap Password & Security.
-Tap Use Touch ID if it’s available on your device. If prompted, enter your passcode.
-Tap Get Verification Code. If prompted again, enter your passcode.

If you’re using an earlier iOS version:
-Go to Settings > iCloud.
-Tap Create a new Apple ID.

How to Use an Apple ID

An Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, iTunes Store, iCloud, iMessage, the Apple Online Store, FaceTime, and more. It includes the email address and password that you use to sign in, as well as all the contact, payment, and security details that you’ll use across Apple services. If you’ve used other Apple services such as iCloud, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID.

You can create an Apple ID without adding a payment method.1 An Apple ID created without a payment method can’t be used to make purchases from the App Store or iTunes Store.2

1. To create an Apple ID without a payment method, you must have an eligible iOS device or Mac on hand.
2. Open Settings and tap [your name], then tap Sign Out. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud > Sign Out.
3. Tap Sign In > Don’t have an Apple ID?

How to Reset Your Apple ID

If you’ve forgotten your Apple ID, or if you want to change it, you can reset it online. Here’s how:

1. Go to Apple’s website and click on the “Forgot your Apple ID?” link.

2. Enter your first name, last name, and email address.

3. Click on the “Continue” button.

How to Change Your Apple ID

If you’re using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up.
You can change the email address that you use as your Apple ID.
Apple recommends that you use the same Apple ID for all Apple services. If you use other Apple services such as iCloud, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID.

Open the Settings app. Tap [your name], then tap iTunes & App Store. If asked, sign in with the Apple ID that you use with the App Store. Tap your Apple ID, tap view apple id You might be asked to sign in with your passcode or password.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Sign Out.
To sign in again, enter your Apple ID and password.”

How to Delete Your Apple ID

Deleting your Apple ID is permanent and cannot be undone, which means you will no longer have access to any services or purchased content associated with that account. Before you go ahead with this process, be sure you have a backup of any data you want to keep, as you will no longer be able to access it once the deletion is complete.

To delete your Apple ID:

1.Open Settings and tap on your name at the top of the screen.
2.Tap “Edit” in the top right corner and then scroll all the way to the bottom and tap “Delete Account.”
3.Enter your password when prompted and then tap “Turn Off.”
4.Tap “Delete from My iPhone” to confirm.
After following these steps, your Apple ID will be permanently deleted from your device and you will no longer have access to any of the associated services or content.

How to Sign Out of Your Apple ID

If you own an Apple device, whether it be an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, your device is linked to your Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access all Apple services and make all of your purchases in the various Apple digital content stores.

In most cases, your Apple ID is also icloud account information and vice versa. Therefore, signing out of your Apple ID also signs you out of iCloud. While this may not be a big deal to some people, others may want to keep their iCloud account active while signing out of their Apple ID on their device.
