How to Unlock Your Apple Watch

Can’t seem to figure out how to unlock your Apple Watch? Here’s a quick and easy guide on how to do it.

Open watch app on your iPhone.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone. Tap the watch tab then scroll down and tap Passcode. If you’ve already set up a passcode, you’ll need to enter it before you can change it.

Tap Change Passcode, then enter a new four-digit passcode or a six-digit passcode. Re-enter the passcode to confirm it, then tap Done.

If you have apple watch you can use it to unlock your Mac. When you turn on two-factor authentication for apple id you need to provide a trusted phone number or device. If you have an iPhone with iOS 9 or later or apple watch with watchOS 2 or later, you can add apple watch as a trusted device.

If you turn on two-factor authentication with an Apple Watch running watchOS 3 or later, you also need to set up a passcode for your watch. After you enter your passcode, your Apple Watch will automatically unlock your Mac when you’re wearing it and in proximity to your Mac.

Tap Passcode. If you’ve already set up a passcode, you’ll be prompted to enter it.

Tap Passcode, then enter a passcode. If you have a passcode set up already, you’ll be prompted to enter it.

Tap Change Passcode, then enter a new passcode.

If you can’t remember your passcode, you’ll need to erase your Apple Watch, which deletes all of your data and settings, including your passcode. After you erase your Apple Watch, you can set it up again and restore your backups.

If you enter the wrong passcode too many times, you’ll see a message that says your Apple Watch is disabled. Re-enter the new passcode to confirm.

You’ll need to enter your new passcode a second time to confirm it.
