Learn how to turn on apple watch and get started with using your new device by following these simple steps.

Open watch app on your iPhone.
Open the Watch app on your iPhone. If you don’t have the Watch app, download it from the App Store.
Tap the watch tab then scroll down and tap General > Wake Screen.
Turn on Wake Screen On Tap.
With Wake Screen On Tap turned on, you can turn on apple watch by tapping it lightly with your finger.
Tap the My Watch tab.
At the bottom of the watch face, tap the My Watch tab.
If you have an iPhone 6 or later, you can also see the My Watch tab by opening apple watch app.
On the My Watch tab, tap General > About.
start Pairing. If you’re asked to enter a passcode on your watch, enter 0000.
Tap General > Wake Screen.
On your Apple Watch, tap Settings > General > Wake Screen.
With the setting turned on, you can turn on your watch by tapping it, pressing the Side button, or raising your wrist.
To manually turn off your watch, press and hold the Side button until the sliders appear, then drag the Power Off slider to the right.
Choose one of the following:
To turn on your Apple Watch, press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.
If you can’t turn on your Apple Watch or it doesn’t turn on when you press the side button,contact apple support
Wake Screen on Wrist Raise: The screen turns on when you raise your wrist.
The default setting for the Wake Screen is “On Wrist Raise,” which means that the Watch face or most recent app will appear every time you raise your wrist as if you’re going to look at the time.
Wake Screen When Tapped: The screen turns on when you tap it.
You can set your Apple Watch to turn on its screen when you tap it. Or, you can have the screen stay turned off and only turn on when you raise your wrist.
Here’s how:
Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
Tap Brightness & contrast.
Tap the switch next to Wrist Wake.
If you can’t wake your Apple Watch by tapping it, pressing the Digital Crown, or making a fist, you may need to turn it on. Follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the side button until the power off slider appears.
2.Drag the slider to turn off your watch.
3. Press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.
