How to Turn On Your Apple TV

Apple TV is a great way to watch your favorite shows, movies, and music. Here’s a quick guide on how to turn on apple tv

Open settings app

Open settings app then select Accounts > Family Sharing. Select your family member, then select Stop Using Family Sharing.

Scroll down and select System.

Press and hold the button on the top of your Apple TV for about six seconds.

1. Check the power cord and make sure it’s securely plugged into the back of your Apple TV and plugged into a power outlet.
2. Press and hold the Menu and Home buttons on your Siri Remote (apple tv remote app) at the same time for at least six seconds, then release both buttons.

Once your Apple TV has restarted, open settings app again.

On your Apple TV 4K or TVHD, you can find the Settings app in the top row of your home screen.

In the Settings app, select System > Restart.

Once your Apple TV has restarted, open the Settings app again. Select Remote Control and Devices > Bluetooth. Your Apple TV should now be discoverable by your controller.

Scroll down and select AirPlay.

Your Apple TV should automatically detect and connect to your iOS device. If it doesn’t, here’s what you need to do:

On your iOS device, open Control Center and make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on.
On your Apple TV, go to Settings > AirPlay and make sure that AirPlay is on.
On your Apple TV, scroll down and select AirPlay.
On your iOS device, tap the name of your Apple TV.
If you don’t see the name of your Apple TV, make sure that your devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Make sure that AirPlay is turned on.

Before you can use AirPlay, you need to make sure that it’s turned on. Here’s how:

Open the Settings app on your Apple TV.
Go to AirPlay > Room and choose the room where you want to play your content.
Choose the Apple TV that you want to play your content on.
If you don’t see your Apple TV, make sure that it’s turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device or Mac.

If you don’t see the AirPlay icon, check your network connection.

The AirPlay icon is usually found in the upper-right corner of your screen.

Make sure that both your Apple TV and iOS device are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Open Control Center, then tap AirPlay. If you don’t see AirPlay, check your iOS device’s Wi-Fi connection.

Tap the name of the device that you want to stream content to.
