If you’re apple pencil user, you may be wondering how to turn it on. Here’s a quick guide on how to do just that.

Open settings app on your iPad.
Now, you should see the main settings for your Apple Pencil. To turn on the pencil, simply tap the switch next to “On.”
Once you’ve turned on your Apple Pencil, you start using it to write, draw, and more!
Tap the General tab.
On your iPad, go to Settings > Accessibility.
Turn on AssistiveTouch.
When you need to turn on your Apple Pencil, tap the AssistiveTouch icon in the menu, then tap Devices.
Tap the Pencil tab.
Apple Pencil (2nd generation) doesn’t turn on automatically when you remove it from its magnetic charging connector.
To turn on Apple Pencil (2nd generation), tap the Pencil tab, then tap the power button .
If your Apple Pencil won’t turn on, make sure that the Bluetooth setting on your iPad is turned on. Then charge your Apple Pencil, and check the tip to see if it’s damaged.
Turn on the Apple Pencil.
To use your Apple Pencil, you need to connect it to your iPad. After you remove the cap and expose the Lightning connector, hold the Apple Pencil close to the charging port on your iPad. When the Apple Pencil pairs with your iPad, the LED on the end of the Apple Pencil will briefly flash white.
