Subtitles can be a great way to make sure you don’t miss any dialogue in your favorite shows, but sometimes they’re just not necessary. If you want to turn off subtitles on apple tv here’s how!

Open settings app
Open settings app Select Accessibility > Audio/Visual. Turn off Closed Captions + SDH.
Select General.

2. Select General.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Select Audio/Visual.
5. Turn off Subtitles/Captions under the Closed Captions + SDH heading by pressing the Play/Pause button on your remote until the setting is off.
Select Accessibility.
From the main menu, select Settings.
Select Accessibility.
Select Subtitles and Captioning.
From the “Style” section, select None.
Select Subtitles & Captioning.
From the Apple TV main menu, go to Settings.
Select General.
Select Accessibility.
Select Subtitles & Captioning.
Under the Subtitles & Captioning section, select the style of subtitle you want to see under the Preferred Language heading. Select Closed Captions+SDH to see closed captions with spoken dialog identified by text on the screen (SDH). To turn off subtitles entirely, select Off.
Select Off.
Assuming you have turned onSubtitles or Alternate Audio, you can follow the below given steps to turn off subtitles on your Apple TV:
1. Launch Settings from your Apple TV’home screen
2. Select Audio & Video.
3. Select Subtitles. If this option is greyed out, subtitles are currently unavailable for the content you are watching.
4. Select Off.
