How to Turn Off Downtime on Apple Watch

Downtime is a new feature in watchOS 5 that allows you to set limits on apple watch usage. It’s designed to help you cut down on the amount of time you spend looking at your watch, but it can be a bit annoying if you accidentally trigger it. Here’s how to turn it off.

Open watch app on your iPhone.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap the watch tab then tap Downtime.
Turn off Downtime.

Tap the watch tab

On your iPhone, open apple watch app.
Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Workout.
Tap Turn Off Downtime.
When Downtime is turned off, you won’t receive Notifications while you’re working out.

Tap General > Wake Screen.

If you want to turn off Downtime but leave Wake Screen on,tap general > Screen Wake, then turn off Wake Screen.

Turn off Wake Screen on Wrist Raise.

1. Open the Settings app on apple watch
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Wake Screen.
4. Toggle off Wake Screen on Wrist Raise.
