In most cases, any activity that makes you breathe hard and break a sweat counts as brisk activity, even if it’s not what some people would consider “exercise.” For instance, carrying groceries or pushing a stroller are activities that can help close your Exercise ring.
You don’t have to do all of your minutes of brisk activity at once. For example, if you walk for 20 minutes during your lunch break and then run for 20 minutes after work, those 40 minutes add up to help close your Exercise ring.
The Stand ring tracks how often you stand up and move around each hour. To close the Stand ring, you need to stand up and move around for at least one minute during 12 different hours in the day. Even if you stand up and move around for just a minute each hour, those 12 active seconds add up over the course of the day to help close your Stand goal. computers
Sharing Your Activity Rings
You can share your Activity rings with other iPhone users who also have an Apple Watch. To do this, open the Activity app on your iPhone, then tap the Sharing tab. Tap Add Friend, then enter the email address or phone number of the person you want to invite. You can also tap Suggested Friends to share your activity rings with people who are in your contacts list and use iMessage.
Viewing Your Activity History
Once you’ve got some activity data in the Health app, it’s easy to view your progress and get more detailed information. Here’s how:
1.Open the Health app and tap the Summary tab.
2.Tap a category, such as Active Energy or Exercise Minutes, to see your activity data for that day, week, or month.
3.Tap Show More to see additional data, such as steps taken or flights climbed, or tap Edit to add or remove data categories.
