Want to make sure you’re staying active and hitting your daily step goal? Here’s how to track your steps on your Apple Watch!
Checkout this video:
Open the Activity app on your iPhone.
The Activity app is where you find all your fitness data in one place, including the number of steps you’ve taken. To find it, open the app and tap the “Activity” tab at the bottom of the screen.
If you don’t see your step count, it’s probably because you haven’t given the Activity app permission to access your Health data. To do that, open settings app and tap “Privacy.” Then, select “Health” from the list of apps and make sure “Step Count” is turned on.
Tap the History tab, then tap a day, week, or month.
The History tab shows your steps, distance, and flights climbed for each day, week, or month.
To see your step counts:
* On your iPhone, open the Health app.
* Tap the History tab, then tap a day, week, or month.
* If you want to see more data, tap Show All Data.
To see flights of stairs climbed or distance traveled:
* On your iPhone, in the Health app, tap the Browse tab.
* Tap an activity type–for example, Stairs Climbed or Distance.
* Tap a day to see how many flights of stairs you climbed or how far you traveled.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Show More Data.
Swipe up on the watch face to open Glances, then scroll to the bottom and tap Show More Data. Select how many steps you want to see: 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 7,500, or 10,000.
Turn on the switches for the data that you want to see.
To track your steps on apple watch you’ll need to turn on the Health app and the pedometer.
