How to Take Off Your Apple Watch Band

After you take apple watch off, you may want to remove the band to clean it or to switch to a different color or style. Here’s how!

How to Take Off apple watch Band

There are a few ways to take off apple watch band. The quickest and easiest way is to press and hold the band release button, which is located on the back of the watch. The band release button is the small, circular button between the bottom of the case and the band attachment point. You will feel a click when you press and hold the button.

Locate the two buttons on the back of your watch

1.To remove apple watch band, press and hold the band release button on the back of your watch, then slide the band across to release it.
2. If you can’t press the button, use a small, sharp object like a nail file or toothpick to press and hold the button, then slide the band across to release it.

Press and hold the button on the bottom of the watch

Using your thumb and index finger, press and hold the button on the bottom of the watch. The band should release, allowing you to slide it off of your wrist. If the band is stuck, try twisting it back and forth before pulling it off.

Slide the band off

The band on apple watch is easily removed so you can switch it out with a new one. To take off your band:

1. Hold down the release button on the back of your watch.
2. Slide the band across to remove it.
3. If you want to adjust the size of your band, you can do so by moving the clasp up or down the strap.

How to Put On apple watch Band

There are a few things you need to do before you can take your Apple Watch off. You need to make sure that your watch is charged and that you have the right tools. You will also need to find a place to put your watch while you’re taking it off. Once you have everything, you’re ready to begin.

Locate the two buttons on the back of your watch

On the back of your watch, there are two small buttons. One is directly below the Digital Crown, and the other is next to it.

To remove your band, press and hold one of the buttons (it doesn’t matter which), then slide the band across and off

Align the band with the watch

Open the watch’s band changer tool. The band changer tool is a small, metal loop that stores inside the hole on the underside of the watch;

Slide one end of the new band under the watch case, and into the holding area on the other side;

Push and pull the band until it snaps into place.

Press and hold the button on the top of the watch

The Watch has two buttons on its right side. The top one is the Digital Crown, and the bottom one is the Side Button.

To take off your Watch band, press and hold the button on the top of the watch, then slide the band away from the watch. If you’re wearing a Link Bracelet or Milanese Loop, press and hold both quick release buttons on either side of the band, then slide the band away from the watch.

To put on your Watch band, line up the band with the Watch so that you seeApple on top (on an adjustable band) or at 12 o’clock (on a non-adjustable band), then slide the band into place. If you’re putting on a Link Bracelet or Milanese Loop, make sure that both quick release buttons are open, line up one end of the band with your watch case, then slide it into place.

Slide the band into place

To put your band on, first find the notch that’s meant for the band (it’s usually on the underside of the watch). If you don’t see a notch, hold the band at roughly a 45-degree angle to your watch, then insert it into the small space between the watch face and the housing.

Once you’ve found the notch, line up the band with it and slide it in. You should feel a click or snap when it’s in place.
