How to Sync Photos to Your Apple Watch

Learn how to sync photos to apple watch so you can view them while you’re on the go. We’ll show you how to add pictures from your iPhone to your watch and how to view them.

Open watch app on your iPhone.

Tap the watch tab then scroll down and tap Photos.

Tap the watch face that you want to customize, then tap Edit.

Scroll down and tap Duplicate. This will create an identical copy of your current watch face.

Tap the new watch face, then tap Customize. Pinch to zoom in and out on the photo so that it fills the screen the way that you want it to. When you’re finished, tap Done.

Tap the watch tab

Open the Watch app on your iPhone. The Watch app is an app that comes preinstalled on all iOS devices, and it’s typically found on the home screen. If you can’t find the Watch app, swipe left on your home screen until you see the search bar. Type “Watch” into the search bar, and then select the Watch app that appears.
Tap the My Watch tab. It’s at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and tap Photos. It’s in the “APPS” section of My Watch.
Tap Copy Photos from iPhone. It’s at the top of the screen under “PHOTOS.”

Scroll down and tap Photos.

If you have apple watch with watchOS 3 or later, you can sync photos to your watch so you can view them when you’re away from your iPhone.

Here’s how:

Open apple watch app on your iPhone.
Tap the My Watch tab.
Scroll down and tap Photos.
Tap Synced Album and then tap an album or folder that you want to sync.

Note: Ifyou have a lot of photos in an album or folder, it might take some time tosync them to your watch.

Tap the switch next to Synced Album.

If you turned of syncing, you can turn it back on by following these steps:
Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap the My Watch tab, then scroll to Photos.
Tap to turn on Synced Album.

Choose an album to sync.

start open the Watch app on your iPhone.

Next, tap the Photos tab.

On the next screen, you can choose to sync All Photos, Albums, or choose Selected Types. Note that not all photo file types are compatible with the Apple Watch.

If you choose Selected Types, you can further specify which file types to sync by tapping on each type listed below that option. The options are: JPEG, TIFF, GIF, PNG, RAW Images and Live Photos. When you’re done choosing which file types to sync, tap Done in the top right corner of the screen.
