Open the Apple TV Remote app and hold your iOS device close to your ‌Apple TV‌.

If you see a four-digit code appear on your ‌Apple TV‌, enter it on your iOS device.

Tap the ‌Apple TV‌ remote to pair it with your ‌iPhone‌, ‌iPad‌, or ‌iPod touch‌.

Tap the ‌Apple TV‌ remote to pair it with your ‌iPhone‌, ‌iPad‌, or ‌iPod touch‌. Then open the Remote app and tap Add Device. Follow the instructions on your iOS device.
