How to Stop an Apple Music Subscription

If you’re no longer interested using apple music you can cancel your subscription. Here’s how to do it on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC.

Cancelling on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you need to cancel apple music subscription for any reason, you can do so right from your iOS device. Here’s how.

Open the Music app.

From your device’s Home screen, tap Music.

Tap the My Music tab.

Tap the profile icon or your photo in the upper-right corner.

Tap apple id You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.

Tap Subscriptions.

Tap the subscription that you want to manage, then tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already canceled and won’t renew.

Tap the For You icon.

On your iPhone, iPad, ipod touch open the Apple Music app. At the bottom of the screen, tap For You.

Tap your profile picture or the Settings icon.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Manage Subscriptions. If you don’t see this option, tap your profile picture or the Settings icon, then tap iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > View Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Tap Cancel Subscription.

How to cancel Apple Music
To cancel your Apple Music subscription on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, first make sure you’re signed in to the correct Apple ID. Then follow these steps:

1. Tap the profile icon in the top right corner.
2. Tap your name at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Manage Subscriptions. If you don’t see this option, tap iTunes & App Store instead.
4. If prompted, enter your password and tap View Account.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription to cancel your subscription.(If you still want to access your photos, files, and information, you can turn off syncing for that device.) When asked if you want to keep or delete existing music, movies, TV shows, books, and apps from your device(s), choose Keep.(This will keep a copy of your content on the device.) You might need to sign out and then back in to all of your devices for changes to take effect.”

Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open the Music app. Or on your Android phone or tablet, open the Apple Music app. At the bottom of the screen, tap Browse. Tap the search icon (magnifying glass) in the top-right corner of the screen and type Apple Music Subscription. From your search results, tap Apple Music Membership to open it.

Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.
Tap Manage Membership. If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID.
Tap your Apple Music subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won’t renew.

Tap Subscriptions.

Open the App Store app. Tap your profile icon at the top of the App Store. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it. If you don’t see a Subscriptions option, you don’t have any subscriptions that are currently active.

Tap the subscription that you want to manage. Don’t see the subscription that you’re looking for? Tap Cancel Subscription. If you still can’t view your subscription and you signed up inside an app or iTunes and not through a third-party provider,contact apple support

If you’re being charged for a subscription, but you don’t see it in your list of subscriptions, it might be billed through someone other than Apple. Use the steps below to find your agreement number. To cancel Apple Music, follow these steps:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in.
Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.
Tap the subscription that you want to manage.

Use the options to manage your subscription.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

Open the Settings app. Tap your name, then tap iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, tap view apple id You might need to sign in with your Apple ID. Tap Subscriptions. If you have more than one subscription, tap the subscription that you want to manage. Use the options to manage your subscription. To cancel your subscription, tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID and check if any family members have subscriptions that might be billed through their account. When you cancel a subscription you’ll still be able to use it until the next billing date and you won’t be charged again for that period of time. If you cancel during a free trial period, you might lose access to content immediately.

Cancelling on a Mac or PC

If you’re using a Mac or PC, follow the steps below to cancel your Apple Music subscription:

Open iTunes.

On a Mac or PC
Open iTunes. If you’re not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID.
Click on Account > View My Account.
Scroll to the Settings section and click Manage next to your subscription.
Click Cancel Subscription.
Click Confirm to confirm your cancellation.

Click Account > View My Account. You might need to sign in.

On the account information page, scroll to the Settings section and click Manage.
Click Cancel Subscription. Your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.
If you don’t see a cancel button,contact apple support

On the Account Information page, scroll to the Settings section.

1. Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > View My Account.
3. On the Account Information page, scroll to the Settings section.
4. To the right of Subscriptions, click Manage.
5. Click Edit next to the subscription that you want to manage. If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID then follow these steps:
6. On your PC: Press CTRL+F on your keyboard and enter your email address or phone number in the search field, then press Enter/Return on your keyboard or click Search. If you see a list of subscriptions in Settings, yours might be listed under “Other Subscriptions.” You can also find all subscriptions under “Set up family sharing,” even if there isn’t a current subscription for a family member’s device; this might happen if someone started a free trial using their device but didn’t subscribe to it later.* On your Mac: Use Finder to open ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iBooksX/Data/Documents/Accounts (this folder may be hidden). Open com.apple.[your country or region].iBooksStore.[year].plist (for example, com.apple .us .iBooksStore .2016 .plist) and look for SubscriptionInfos . If com.[your country or region].iBooksStore.[year].plist doesn’t contain the word SubscriptionInfos , check com.[your country or region].iTunesStore.[year].plist instead.* If Family Sharing is enabled on your device and there is an active subscription for another family member, it might not appear in this list; instead it appears in Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing.* Click Cancel Subscription or Free Trial**
7-8 If asked why you want to cancel, choose a reason from the pop-up menu and then click Confirm.* You can also cancel subscriptions in Settings on an iOS device; just tap [your name], then tap iTunes & App Store, then tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then View Apple ID > Subscriptions > Management); find the subscription that you want to cancel and tap Cancel Subscription.* If you don’t see Cancel Subscription after tapping **Manage** **Subscription** , it means you have currently have an active Apple Music student membership which can’t be cancelled.* Tap **Turn Off Auto-Renewal** *instead*.

Click Manage to the right of Subscriptions.

From your Mac or PC

1. Open iTunes. If you’re not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID.
2. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose Account > View My Account.
3. On the Account Information page, scroll to the Settings section.
4. To the right of Subscriptions, click Manage.
5. If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID.
6. If you see multiple subscriptions, choose the one that you want to manage. If you’re not sure which one to choose, contact the app developer for help with billing and subscriptions.

7. Use the options to manage your subscription:
– Choose Cancel Subscription to cancel your subscription.*
– Choose Edit Subscription if you want to change your subscription options.* For example, you can change from a monthly to an annual subscription or vice versa.*
– Choose Pause Your Plan if you’d like put your subscription on hold for a period of time.* You can choose from 1 month up to 12 months maximum.*

8. You might need to enter your password again.* Then click Confirm.*

Click Edit to the right of the subscription that you want to manage.

If you don’t see Edit, click the sign-in button or your name at the bottom of the sidebar. Click View Information. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID. Scroll to the Subscriptions section, then click Edit to the right of the subscription that you want to manage. If you don’t see a subscriptions section, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Manage next to Subscriptions. Use the options to manage your subscription. You can choose a different subscription period, or turn off Auto-Renewal. When you’re finished, click Done.

Use the options to manage your subscription.

On your computer, open iTunes. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > View My Account. Sign in with your Apple ID, then click View Account. Scroll to the Settings section and click Manage next to Subscriptions. (If you don’t see this section, follow the steps below.) On the page that appears, scroll to the bottom and click Cancel Subscription.

Cancelling on an Android device

Open the Apple Music app.

Open the Apple Music app. If you don’t have it, download it from the Play Store.

Tap the menu button in the top-left corner of the screen. It looks like three lines stacked on top of each other.

Tap “Account.” This will open a new page with your account information.

Scroll down and tap “Manage Subscription.” This will take you to a new page with your subscription information.

Tap “Cancel Subscription.” You’ll be prompted to confirm your decision to cancel; tap “Confirm” when you’re ready to proceed.

Tap the menu icon in the top left corner.

Open the Apple Music app.

At the bottom of the screen, tap Browse.

Tap the menu icon in the top left corner.

Tap your name at the top of the screen.

Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.

Under Subscriptions, tap Manage. If you don’t see a subscription in iTunes and are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID.

Tap your Apple Music subscription and set the auto-renewal slider to Off . then tap Done .

Tap Account.

If you need to cancel an Apple Music subscription on your Android device, you will need to do so through the Apple Music app. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open the Apple Music app
2. Tap the Menu icon (three lines) in the top left corner
3. Tap Account
4. Scroll down and tap Manage Subscription
5. Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the page

Tap Subscriptions.

If you need to cancel an Apple Music subscription, you can do so from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC.

From your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Open the Settings app. Tap iTunes & App Store. Tap on your Apple ID. Tap View Apple ID. You might be asked to sign in. Scroll to Subscriptions and tap it. Tap the subscription that you want to manage. If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID. Use the options to manage your subscription. You can choose a different subscription period, or turn off Auto-Renewal. If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.*

From your Mac or PC:
Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID.* From the menu bar at the top of your screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > View My Account.* On the Account Information page, scroll down to Settings and click Manage next to Subscriptions.* To the right of Subscriptions, click Edit. If you don’t see a subscriptions section on this page, follow these steps: Click on Settings > View Profile > Manage Subscriptions.* Find and click on the subscription that you want to manage.* Use the options next to each item to make changes. To cancel an app subscriptions – such as HBO NOW, Pandora Premium – click Turn Off Automatic Renewal.* To cancel an Apple Music membership , click Cancel Membership at the bottom of this page.*

*You might need to confirm that you want to stop payments with your password or Touch ID

Tap the subscription that you want to manage.

If you’re still within the free trial period, you can cancel your subscription by going to your account settings. Once the free trial is over, you’ll need to cancel your subscription by contacting Apple support.

Here’s how to find your subscription:

Open the Settings app. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. (If you don’t see “Subscriptions,” tap “iTunes & App Store” instead. Then tap your Apple ID, tap View Apple ID, sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, and tap Subscriptions.) Tap the subscription that you want to manage. If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID.

To cancel an app subscription on your iPhone:
1. Tap Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.
3. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.
4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage 18 May 2020
5. If you don’t see a cancellation option here (or if it says “Report a Problem”), contact the app developer directly for help with subscriptions for that app: Find contact information for app developers – Apple Support.”

Use the options to manage your subscription.

Here’s how to manage your subscription:

-Open the Apple Music app.
-Tap the menu button > Account > View my account.
-Sign in with your Apple ID.
-Tap Manage under Subscriptions.
-Use the options to manage your subscription. You can turn off automatic renewal, or cancel your subscription.
