How to Stop Your Apple Music Subscription

Apple Music is a streaming service that allows you to listen to over 50 million songs. It’s also a great way to support artists, as Apple pays royalties for each song that is played. However, you may not always want to keep your subscription. Here’s how to cancel apple music subscription

Open the Music app.

Open the Music app. If you’re not signed in, sign in with apple id Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen. Tap **View Account.** On the Account Settings screen, tap **Subscriptions.** Tap the subscription that you want to manage, then use the options to manage your subscription.

– To cancel your subscription, tap **Cancel Subscription** at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see **Cancel Subscription,** tap **Done** first,- then tap **Cancel Subscription** at the bottom of the screen.

– To change to a different subscription type (like an individual plan to a family plan), tap **Edit Subscription** at the bottom of the screen.- On the Edit Subscription screen, select a new subscription type.- If you don’t see Add Family Membership or Add Individual Membership,contact apple support – If you want to cancel your subscriptions from our website instead of through the Music app,* open iTunes.* From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Accounts > View My Account.* On the Account Information page, scroll down and click Manage under Subscriptions.* Click Edit next to each subscription and follow instructions for each type of subscription that you want to cancel.

Tap the For You icon at the bottom.

On your iPhone, iPad, ipod touch

Open the Music app.
Tap the For You icon at the bottom.
Scroll to the bottom and tap View Account.
Tap Manage next to Subscriptions.
Tap Apple Music Membership.
Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID and check the Subscriptions page again.

On your Mac or PC:

Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID.
Click Account > View My Account.
Scroll to Settings and click Manage next to Subscriptions.
Click Edit next to Apple Music Membership and click Cancel Subscription.

Scroll to the bottom and tap View Account.

If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can cancel it from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC. If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Open the Music app. Tap the profile icon or your photo in the upper-right corner. Tap View Account. Scroll to the bottom and tap View Account. On the Accounts page, scroll to Subscriptions and tap it. Tap Apple Music Membership. If you don’t see a subscription and are being charged for one, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID. Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription and are being charged for a subscription, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID>

On your Android device
Open apple music app . Tap the menu button .Tap Account.Tap Manage Membership.If you subscribe to Apple Music on your Android phone through iTunes:, tap Cancel Subscription on Apple Music > View Apple ID > enter your password > scroll to Subscriptions > tap Manage > find Apple Music Membership > tap Cancel Subscription.

On your Mac or PC
Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID . From the menu bar at the top of your screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > View My Account. On the graphical representations of your account page that appears next, scroll down and look under Settings for a Subscriptions option; click “Manage” to its right . In the list of subscriptions that appears next (which might include apps like HBO NOW as well as music services like Spotify), find “Apple Music Membership” and click “Edit” to its right . In any event , click “Cancel Subscription” when prompted how best to proceed , then click “Done” when finished>

It’s also possible to cancel an Apple Music subscription by going directly to appleid.apple>com in any web browser , signing into your account , choosing “Subscriptions” from its landing page (under Settings), finding “Apple Music Membership”, then selecting “Cancel Subscription”.

Tap Manage Subscriptions.

If you created your Apple Music subscription via your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or in iTunes on a Mac or PC, you need to cancel it using Apple’s tool:

Open Settings. Tap iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.tap view apple id You might need to sign in with your Apple ID. Tap Subscriptions. If you don’t see a subscription in iTunes and are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID. Find the subscription that you want to manage, then tap it. Use the options to manage your subscription. You can choose a different subscription period, or turn off Automatic Renewal altogether.

When you cancel a monthly subscription, the cancellation takes effect from the following month. For example, if you cancel on January 31, your subscription will stop at the end of February and won’t renew in March. If you cancel an annual subscription more than 24 hours before your renewal date, you’ll continue to have access to premium features until your current period ends.

Tap Apple Music Membership.

On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android phone, open the Apple Music app. From the menu bar at the bottom of your screen or at the top of your screen, depending on your device, tap Account.tap view apple id You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID. Scroll to Subscriptions and tap it. If you don’t see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID.

On your Mac, open iTunes. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > View My Account. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID. Scroll to Settings and click Manage next to Subscriptions. On the next page, find and click on your Apple Music Membership subscription.

A window pops up asking you to confirm that you want to cancel your subscription (see screenshot). Click Confirm when prompted (see screenshot).

You’ve successfully canceled your subscription!

Tap Cancel Subscription.

Open the Settings app. Tap your name, then tap iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it. Tap the subscription that you want to manage. Use the options to manage your subscription. If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle.

Tap Confirm to confirm your changes.

To cancel your Apple Music subscription on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap iTunes & App Store.
3. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
4. Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.
5. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.
6. Tap the subscription that you want to manage, then tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won’t renew.

To cancel your Apple Music subscription on your Mac or PC:

1. Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID. If you can’t find it, open Finder > Applications > iTunes > Preferences > Accounts tab > Click Authorizations > Right-click on your Apple ID > Copy [your email address]. Most users can skip step 2 below as they’re already signed in within iTunes with their Apple ID credentials (but not everyone is).
2\. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > View My Account (you might need to sign in).

On the Account Information page, scroll to the Settings section and click Manage next to Subscriptions (If you don’t see this section, follow these steps instead: from View My Account page click Edit next to Payment Type and update your payment method)​4\. Click Edit next to an active subscription and select Off for Automatic Renewal; confirm by selecting Turn Off for Automatic Renewal again when asked if you’re sure​5\. Click Done when finished
