How to Show Steps on Apple Watch

A tutorial on how to enable or disable the fitness tracking feature and view your progress on apple watch

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap “Privacy.” Tap “Motion & Fitness.” Turn on the switch next to “Fitness Tracking.”

Tap the General category.

In watch app on your iPhone, tap the watch tab then tap Passcode. Tap Turn Passcode On. Enter a new passcode, then tap Done.

You can also change the passcode from apple watch Press the Side Button, then tap Passcode. Enter your current passcode, tap Change Passcode, enter a new passcode, then tap Done.

Tap Accessibility.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap Accessibility.
Tap VoiceOver.
Turn on VoiceOver.

Tap toggle switch next to Bold Text to turn it on. A popup window will appear.

If you have apple watch you can view your steps by tapping the “Health” app on your watch’s home screen. The steps will be displayed in the “All Activity” section of the app. You can also view your steps by swiping up from the watch face to view the “Glances” screen, and then tapping on the “Steps” glance.

Tap Continue. The Apple Watch will restart.

If you can’t see your step count, check your privacy settings:

1. On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > Motion & Fitness – turn on Share with App.
2. On your iPhone, in the Settings app, go to Privacy > Motion & Fitness – turn on Fitness Tracking & share with Apple Watch.

Tap toggle switch next to Reduce Motion to turn it on.

If you want to see your progress toward your daily Step goal, but you don’t want the Motion interface cluttering up your watch face, you can turn on the Reduce Motion setting. With Reduce Motion enabled, your step progress will be shown as a simple inner ring that expands outward as you reach your goal.

Here’s how to enable Reduce Motion:

1. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Accessibility.
4. Tap the toggle switch next to Reduce Motion to turn it on.

Tap the toggle switch next to On/Off Labels to turn it on.

Assuming you’ve already set up your Apple Watch and it’s tracking your fitness data, you can easily see how many steps you’ve taken by checking the Activity app. The default view shows your progress for the day, but you can tap on the History tab to see your progress over time.

If you want to see your step count right on your watch face, you can enable the Complication. To do so, open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap on My Watch. Scroll down and tap on Complications. Choose the Modular Large or Utility Large watch face, and then tap on the plus sign next to Steps.

Tap the toggle switch next to Mono Audio to turn it on.

If you have trouble hearing people on your Apple Watch, you can turn on Mono Audio. This will make it so you can hear both channels of a stereo recording in both ears.

Here’s how:
1. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Tap Accessibility.
3. Tap Mono Audio.
4. Tap the toggle switch next to Mono Audio to turn it on
