You’ve just got your apple watch and you’re excited to set it up. Here’s a quick guide on how to do just that.

Open the box and remove your new Apple Watch
Your apple watch comes in a box along with a magnetic charging cable and a power adapter. Use the button on the right side of the watch to release the band, then slide the watch out of the box.
Turn on your apple watch by pressing and holding the side button until you see the Apple logo. To pair your watch with your iPhone, open the watch app on your iPhone and tap “Start Pairing.”
Place your Apple Watch on its charger
Congratulations on your new Apple Watch! Now that you have it, it’s time to set it up so you start using it.
To get started, you’ll need to place your Apple Watch on its charger. This will help ensure that it has enough power to complete the setup process.
Once your watch is on its charger, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. The app will prompt you to start the setup process. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the process.
After you’ve finished setting up your Apple Watch, take some time to explore all of its features and set up any apps that you want to use. You can also customize the watch face to suit your personal style.
Download the Apple Watch app
Before you can start using your Apple Watch, you need to pair it with your iPhone. Make sure that your iPhone is running iOS 8.2 or later, and then follow these steps:
1. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
2.tap start pairing
3. Hold your Apple Watch close to your iPhone. A message should appear on your iPhone asking you to enter a passcode on your Apple Watch.
4. Enter the passcode on your Apple Watch.
5. Tap Pair on your iPhone when prompted.
6. Follow the instructions on your iPhone and Apple Watch to finish setting up.
Pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone
Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap the watch tab
Tap Start Pairing and hold your Apple Watch close to your iPhone. A message says, “Use your iPhone to set up this Apple Watch.”
Tap Continue and wait for an animation to appear on your Apple Watch. When you see the Watch face with the time, you can begin using your Apple Watch.
Set up Apple Pay
Tap Continue on your iPhone, then hold your Apple Watch up to the face of your iPhone. A message should say, “Hold near reader to set up Apple Pay.” If you don’t see that message, open the Wallet app on your iPhone and wait for a card to appear.
If you’re asked to enter a passcode on your Apple Watch, you will need to put the passcode for your Watch. This is different from the passcode for your iPhone.
You might need to enter the security code that’s on your debit or credit card. If you don’t have a security code, contact your card issuer.
When you’re asked to confirm your billing address, review the address and enter any missing information.
Customize your watch face
Open the Watch app on your iPhone, then tap the Face Gallery tab.
Swipe to browse the different watch faces, then tap one that you want to use.
Tap Customize.
Use the controls to customize the elements of your watch face, then tap Done.
Explore the Apple Watch app
Now that your Apple Watch is set up, it’s time to start exploring the Apple Watch app. This is where you manage all the apps on your watch and customize your watch face. You can also access Settings from here.
To open the Apple Watch app, press the Digital Crown to go to the Home screen, then look for the App Store icon.
The Apple Watch app has four sections:
My Watch: This is where you manage all the apps on your watch, as well as customize your watch face.
Shop: This is where you can buy new watch faces and straps.
Explore: This is where you can learn more about how to use your Apple Watch.
Settings: This is where you can customize the settings for your watch.
