It is now possible to take an electrocardiogram (ECG) on apple watch Series 4. Here’s how to set it up and use it.

Open the Health app on your iPhone.
To use ECG, you need iPhone 6s or later with iOS 12.2 or later, apple watch Series 4 with watchOS 5.2 or later. The ECG app is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, and select other European countries and regions.
If you don’t have apple watch Series 4, you can still use the Heart Rate app on your watch to check your heart rate and Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
Open the Health app on your iPhone. If you’re asked to enter your passcode apple id do so now. Tap the Browse tab, then tap Heart. Tap Electrocardiograms > Set Up ECG. Follow the instructions on your screen to finish setting up ECG on apple watch
Tap the Browse tab.
To set up ECG apple watch you need to:
– Open the Health app on your iPhone and tap the Browse tab.
-Tap Heart, then tap Electrocardiograms.
-Tap Set Up ECG.
Tap Heart.
To set up ECG on your Apple Watch, open the Health app and tap Heart. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
Tap Electrocardiograms.
Open the Health app on your iPhone.
Tap the Browse tab, then tap Heart.
Tap Electrocardiograms.
Tap Set Up ECG, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Tap Set Up ECG.
If you’re using an Apple series 4 or later, you can set up ECG to track your heart rate and rhythm.
To set up ECG:
1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Browse tab, then tap Heart.
3. Tap Set Up ECG, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete setup.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
Open the Health app on your iPhone, then tap the Browse tab.
Tap Heart, then tap Electrocardiogram.
Tap Turn All Categories On, then tap Continue.
If you’re asked to set up Data Access & Sharing, tap Continue and choose whether to share your data with Apple Watch. You can change this later in the Settings app on your iPhone.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then tap Privacy > Motion & Fitness > turn on Health Share Data.
