How to Set Up Apple Watch to New Phone

A step-by-step guide on how to set up apple watch with a new iPhone.

Open watch app on your new iPhone.

If you’ve just got a new iPhone, you’ll need to unpair apple watch from your old iPhone before you can pair it with your new one. Don’t worry, though, it’s really easy. Here’s how!

Open the Watch app on your new iPhone. You should see a message that says “Use your iPhone to set up apple watch ” Tap Continue.

Hold your new iPhone next to your Apple Watch. Make sure that the two devices are close to each other, and that they’re both facing each other.

You’ll see a message on your iPhone asking if you want to use apple id for this Apple Watch. Tap Continue, then enter your password when prompted.

Make sure that your iPhone is running iOS 8.2 or later and that you have the latest version of the Apple Watch app.

To set up your Apple Watch, you need an iPhone with the latest version of iOS.

If you don’t have an iPhone, you can borrow one from a friend or family member who does. Just make sure that it’s amodel with anM9 chip or newer (iPhone 5s or later).

Make sure that your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap “Start Pairing” at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t see this option, tap “My Watch,” then tap “Start Pairing.”

Tap “Continue” on your iPhone, then hold your Apple Watch next to it. Wait for a message that says “Apple Watch is paired” and tap “Continue.”

On your iPhone, choose whether to restore data from a backup or set up as new. If you’re restoring from a backup, make sure that it includes information from your previous Apple Watch.

Choose which apps to install on your watch, then wait for them to finish installing. When you’re done, tap “Start UsingwatchOS.”

Tap your Apple Watch at the top of the screen.

Open the Apple Watch app on your new iPhone, then pair your watch with your new iPhone. For more information, see the Apple Watch User Guide.

If you’re asked to Set Up as New or Restore from Backup, choose Restore from Backup.

If you have an iOS device that’s running iOS 11 or later and a compatible Apple Watch, you use apple watch with your new iPhone. If you don’t have an iOS device that’s running iOS 11 or later, you can still use Apple Watch, but some of its features won’t work.

To set up your new iPhone, do one of the following:

-Set up as new: Choose this option if you don’t want to transfer any data from your old iPhone to your new one. This is the recommended option if you’re upgrading from an iPhone that uses Touch ID to one that uses Face ID.
-Restore from backup: Choose this option if you want to transfer data from your old iPhone to your new one. This is the recommended option if you’re upgrading from an iPhone that uses Face ID to one that uses Touch ID.

Choose a backup.

If you have an Apple Watch with cellular, choose a backup that includes your plan so you can use your watch without your iPhone nearby.

To set up your Apple Watch with a new iPhone, turn off your current iPhone and put it away. Open the Apple Watch app on your new iPhone and tap “Start Pairing.” Follow the instructions on your new iPhone and Apple Watch.

Wait for the process to finish.

Now that you have your new iPhone, it’s time to set up your Apple Watch so you can enjoy all the features and benefits it has to offer. Whether you’re using an Apple Watch Series 1 or later, the process is relatively simple and only takes a few minutes to complete.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Make sure your iPhone is running iOS 11 or later.
2. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
3. Tap “Start Pairing” and hold your Apple Watch close to your iPhone.
4. Wait for the process to finish and then tap “Continue.”
5. Follow the instructions on your iPhone and Apple Watch to finish setting up your device.
