How to Set Up Apple Pay on Your Watch

If you have an iPhone 6 or later, you use apple pay to make payments with apple watch Here’s how to set it up!

Open watch app on your iPhone and tap the watch tab

Open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab.

Tap Wallet & Apple Pay. If you haven’t set up Apple Pay on your iPhone, tap Add Card and follow the instructions on your screen.

Tap Default Card. Choose the card that you want to use for Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is now set up on your watch! To pay, double-click the side button and hold the display of apple watch within a few centimeters of the contactless reader.

Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

Open apple watch app on your iPhone and tap Wallet & Apple Pay. You might need to enter your passcode or Touch ID.

Tap Add Credit or Debit Card, then follow the instructions on your screen.

To pay in stores, hold your watch close to the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. Or, double-click the side button, then hold your watch up to the contactless reader.
You might need to enter a PIN.

Tap Add Credit or Debit Card.

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap the My Watch tab.

Tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap Add Credit or Debit Card.

Position your iPhone so that your card appears in the frame, or enter the card information manually. If you need to enter your card number manually, tap the letter icons at the bottom of the keypad to enter the appropriate letters and numbers.

Tap Next, then review your information and tap Done.

Use your iPhone camera to capture your card information or enter it manually.

If you have an iPhone 6 or later, you can use the camera to capture your card information. Just hold your card in front of the camera and enter the card security code when prompted. You can also enter your card information manually.

To set up Apple Pay on your Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap Wallet & Apple Pay. Tap Add Credit or Debit Card and follow the instructions on your screen.

Tap Next.

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab.

Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

Tap Add Credit or Debit Card. If you have an existing card in Wallet, tap it, then enter the card’s security code to add it to your Apple Watch. If you don’t have a card in Wallet, tap Add a different card and use your iPhone camera to capture its information, or enter the information manually. Tap Next.

Apple Pay works with most credit and debit cards from major card issuers. You might need to call your bank or credit issuer to set up Apple Pay.

Enter the security code for your credit or debit card.

1. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap the My Watch tab.
2. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
3. Tap Add Credit or Debit Card. You might need to sign in with apple id If you’re using iCloud Keychain, you might have to enter a confirmation code from your previous device to add your card on your new device.
4. Follow the instructions on your iPhone to add a new card. If you’re asked to verify your card, choose a method and follow the instructions on the screen.*
5. After your bank or issuer verifies your card, tap Next on your iPhone, then tap Done on your Apple Watch.

Tap Done.

If you don’t see the Apple Pay button, contact your bank or card issuer to make sure that they support Apple Pay. If you’re using a credit, debit, or prepaid card from a participating issuer, you can add it to Wallet. You might need to enter the security code that’s printed on your card.

Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap . Tap Add Credit or Debit Card. Follow the steps on your screen.

If you’re asked to add your card to Apple Pay, choose Continue. Otherwise, tap Next. Tap Done.
