How to Set Up an Apple ID

Setting up apple id is easy and only takes a few minutes. Here’s how to do it.

Open the App Store.

Open the App Store. If you’ve never used the App Store or purchased a computer, you may want to review the introduction to the App Store.

If you’re using a new Apple device, use the built-apple id sign-in. Otherwise, go to step 4.
Tap Sign In or Create Your Apple ID at the bottom of the screen.
If you have an existing Apple ID, use it here. Otherwise, create an Apple ID by following these steps:
Select Use your current email address, or tap Get Free iCloud Email if you want a new iCloud.com email address.
Enter your name, date of birth, and choose your country or region.
Tap Next, then read and agree to the terms and conditions of using an Apple ID. Some features require specific terms and conditions.
Choose how you want to verify your account: Select Use Two-Factor Authentication if available (recommended), Get an email or text message instead, or Answer security questions*. Then tap Next and follow the instructions onscreen to verify your account using two-factor authentication (available only in certain countries and regions), email verification works for most people around the world.* If you’re having trouble verifying your account with any of those options, tap Use security questions instead and follow instructions onscreen

Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services. If you’ve used other Apple services such as iCloud, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID.

If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one.

To browse the App Store without an Apple ID, tap Browse or explore in the bottom menu. You can also redeem gift cards without an Apple ID.

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Sign in with your Apple ID. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Continue with your Apple ID and enter your full name and date of birth before tapping Next.

Enter your email address and choose a password, then tap Next. If you have an existing email address that you’d like to use as your Apple ID, tap Use your current email address or Get a free iCloud email address.

Complete the security questions and verify your mobile number, then tap Next. If you’re asked for a recovery key, you have two-factor authentication turned on for your Apple ID.
Finally, review the Terms and Conditions and tap Agree if you agree to them.

Tap Sign In or Create New Apple ID.

If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap Sign In or Create New Apple ID.

Creating an Apple ID is easy and free. Just enter your email address, date of birth, and password. Then select whether you’d like to hear from Apple about product updates, the latest news, special events, and more.

As part of the setup process, you’ll be asked to enter a payment method so that you can purchase apps and other content. You can choose to use an existing credit or debit card on file with iTunes, or you can set up a new card.

Follow the prompts to create your new Apple ID.

When you create an Apple ID, you enter your name, date of birth, email address and a password. You can also choose to add your phone number and current address. Once you have an Apple ID, you can use it to sign in to all Apple services. If you forget your password, you can reset it.

You can create an Apple ID without providing a payment method. If you want to buy something from the iTunes Store, App Store or iBooks Store, or use iCloud, you need an Apple ID that includes a payment method such as a credit card or debit card. You won’t be charged until you make a purchase.

To get started, open the App Store app and sign in with your existing Apple ID.

If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap Create new Apple ID. Follow the prompts to set up your new account. When prompted for payment information, tap None.

Apple provides every iPhone, iPad,ipod touch and Mac with a unique identifier, called an Apple ID. This string of characters can be used to log in to your Apple account on all devices and services, such as the App Store, iTunes Store, iCloud, iMessage, and more. If you don’t have an Apple ID yet, you can create one directly from your device or by visiting Apple’s website.

If you’re not signed in with an Apple ID, tap Sign In or Create New Apple ID and follow the on-screen instructions. If you are signed in with an Apple ID, skip to step 4.

Tap Create New Apple ID.
Read the Terms and Conditions and tap Agree if you agree to them.
Enter your email address (which will serve as your new Apple ID), date of birth, password, and choose three security questions from the drop-down menus. The answers to these questions will be used to verify your identity if you ever need to reset your password.
Tap Next when finished entering this information.”

Tap Sign Out.

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Settings > [your name]. Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > Sign Out.

Enter apple id password and tap Turn Off. Tap Sign Out again, then enter your password and tap Turn Off.

Open Settings and tap Sign in to your [device].

Open Settings and tap Sign in to your [device].

Enter your Apple ID and password. If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap Create a new Apple ID.

Choose the type of information that you want to sync from your [device] to iCloud and click Done.

On the “Welcome to the App Store” screen, tap the sign-in button or your profile icon.

Tap Use Existing Apple ID, then enter the Apple ID and password that you want to use.

If you don’t have an Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID, then follow the instructions on the screen to set up an Apple ID. When you’re done, tap Next.
