In this article, we will show you how to set up Apple Pay so that you start sending money to your contacts. We will also show you how to add money to your Cash App using apple pay
Before we get started, please note that you must have a Cash App account in order to add money to your balance using Apple Pay. If you do not have a Cash App account, you can sign up for one by downloading the Cash App from the App Store.
Once you have a Cash App account, you will need to add a debit or credit card to your account in order use apple pay You can do this by going to the “Cash” tab on cash app home screen and tapping on the “Add Payment Method” button. From here, you can add a debit or credit card from your iPhone’s wallet app.
Once you have added a debit or credit card to your Cash App account, you are ready to start using Apple Pay. To start, simply open the Cash App and tap on the “Pay” tab at the bottom of the screen. Then, tap on the “Apple Pay” button at the top of the screen.
From here, simply select the contact that you want to send money to and enter the amount of money that you want to send. Once you are ready, tap on the “Pay” button and confirm your payment using Face ID or Touch ID. That’s all there is to it!
Setting up Apple Pay
If you’re using a supported device, you can set up Apple Pay in Settings.
1. Open Settings, then tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
2. Tap Add Card and follow the instructions on your screen to add a new card. If you’re asked to add the card that you use with apple id cards on other devices, or cards that you’ve recently removed, choose them, then enter the card security codes.
3. After you add your card, follow the instructions on your screen to verify your card.
Sending money with Apple Pay
Sending money with Apple Pay is easy, and you can use it to pay back a friend for lunch or send money to family for help with bills. Here’s how to do it:
1. Open the Cash App on your iPhone.
2. Tap the “$” sign at the bottom center of your screen.
3. Enter the amount of money you want to send and tap “Pay.”
4. Type in the name, email address or phone number of the person you want to send money to and tap “Next.” If you have their information saved in your contacts list, you can simply select their name from the list that appears. If not, you can type in their information manually.
5. Tap “Apple Pay” as your payment method and confirm the payment with Face ID or Touch ID when prompted.
Receiving money with Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a contactless payment system that allows users to make payments using their iPhones. The service can be used in stores, online, and in apps. Apple Pay can also be used to send and receive money from friends and family.
To receive money from someone, you will need to have an Apple Pay Cash account set up. This can be done by adding your debit or credit card to Wallet and selecting Apple Pay Cash as your default payment method.
Once you have an Apple Pay Cash account set up, you can receive money by asking the sender to use the Apple Pay app to send you money. You can also ask the sender to use Siri to send you money. To do this, the sender will need to say something like “Send $20 with Apple Pay to John.”
You will then receive a notification that someone has sent you money. You can choose to accept or decline the payment. If you accept the payment, the money will be added to your Apple Pay Cash balance.
Troubleshooting

-Check that the recipient’s information is entered correctly, including their email address or phone number and their Cash App username.
-Ensure that there are enough funds in your Apple Pay balance to cover the amount you’re trying to send. To add funds to your Apple Pay balance, use a credit or debit card that’s linked to your Apple Pay account. You can also transfer money from your bank account to your Apple Pay balance.
