Apple Cash is a secure way to send and receive money using the Messages app on your iPhone or iPad. You use apple cash with Apple Pay to pay in stores, in apps, and online.
You can use apple cash to send and receive money from friends and family right in Messages. When you receive money, it’s automatically deposited into your Apple Cash card in the Wallet app. You start using the cash right away with Apple Pay, or you can transfer it to your bank account.
Setting up Apple Cash
If you’re running iOS 11.2 or later, you can use Apple Cash to send and receive payments through the Messages app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You can use apple pay to make purchases in stores, in apps, and on websites.
To set up Apple Cash:
1. Open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign in the upper-right corner.
2. Tap Continue and follow the instructions on your screen to set up Apple Cash.
If you’re using an iPhone 6 or later, you will need to verify your identity using Touch ID or Face ID. If you’re using an iPhone SE or 5s, you will need to verify your identity using a passcode.
Sending and receiving money with Apple Cash
Apple Cash is a great way to send and receive money with Apple Pay. You can use Apple Cash to pay for things in stores, in apps, and on the web. You can also use it to send money to other people.
Here’s how to get started with Apple Cash:
1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Apple Pay button, then tap the plus sign.
3. Follow the instructions on your screen to add a new credit or debit card. If you’re using an iPhone 6 or later, you can add your card by holding it up to the camera.
4. Once your card is added, tap Next, then enter the amount of money you want to send or request.
5. When you’re ready, tap Send or Request.
6. Confirm your payment with Face ID or Touch ID . . . and that’s it! Your money will be sent or received instantly.
Using Apple Cash with Apple Pay
