Open settings app on your iPad.
Tap on Bluetooth.
Under My Devices, you’ll see apple pencil listed. The battery percentage will be next to it.

Tap “Battery.”

A small battery icon appears next to the Apple Pencil on the iPad’s status bar when it’s in use. Tapping this icon brings up a window showing the current charge level and how long it will last — both estimated in hours and percentage — as well as a “Time Since Last Charge” reading.

Here, you’ll see your Apple Pencil’s current battery level under the “Battery” heading.

Your Apple Pencil’s battery level is displayed on the iPad in the upper-right corner, next to the network and Wi-Fi options. To see your Pencil’s battery level, open settings app on your iPad, then tap “Bluetooth.” Here, you’ll see your Apple Pencil’s current battery level under the “Battery” heading.

If you don’t see your Pencil listed here, make sure that it’s turned on and properly paired with your iPad. You find more information about pairing your Apple Pencil with your iPad in our support article.
