A screenshot is an image of your computer screen that you can take and save on your device.
Checkout this video:
Open the screen that you want to take a screenshot of.
To take a screenshot of the entire screen, press Shift-Command (⌘)-3. To take a screenshot of a selected portion of the screen, press Shift-Command-4. An image of your screen appears on your desktop.
Press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3.
Or, if you prefer, press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3. This combo makes a screenshot of the entire screen and saves it as a file on the desktop. The file is called “Screen Shot date at time.png.”
Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop.
By default, screenshots save to your desktop with the name “Screen Shot [date] at [time].png.” For example, if you took a screenshot on May 1st at 3:33 PM, the file would be named “Screen Shot 2020-05-01 at 15.33.00.png.”
