How to Screen Mirror Your Apple TV

Open Control Center.

Open Control Center on your iOS device tap screen mirroring Select apple tv from the list. If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen, enter the passcode on your iOS device.

Screen mirroring is a way to share what’s on your Apple TV with an iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or another Apple TV.

Open Control Center, then tap .

Tap Screen Mirroring. Select your Apple TV from the list. If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen, enter the passcode on your iOS device.

Select your Apple TV from the list.

Turn on your Apple TV and go to Settings > AirPlay. Make sure that AirPlay is turned on.

Open Control Center, then tap Screen Mirroring. Select your Apple TV from the list.

If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen, enter the code on your iOS device.

Open Control Center.

To screen mirror on your Apple TV, you’ll need to open Control Center. You can do this by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen. If you’re using an iPhone X or later, or an iPad with iOS 12 or later, you can also turn on Screen Mirroring in Control Center.

Once you open Control Center, you should see a Screen Mirroring button. If you don’t see this button, it’s likely because your device isn’t compatible with mirroring or because AirPlay is turned off in Settings.

Tap the Screen Mirroring button.

Screen Mirroring is a way to share what’s on your Apple device — websites, presentations, spreadsheets — with a group of people.

You can use Screen Mirroring with most Apple devices that have iOS 12 or later or macOS Catalina or later. Here’s a list of devices that support Screen Mirroring:

– iPhone 8 or later
– iPad Pro (12.9-inch) or later
– iPad (5th generation) or later
– iPad mini (5th generation) or later
– iPod touch (7th generation) or later

start using Screen Mirroring, follow these steps:

1. Make sure that your devices meet the requirements for using Screen Mirroring.
2. Connect your Apple TV to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device or Mac. If you can’t connect because of a password, temporarily move your Apple TV closer to your router so that it can pick up the network details. You can move it back after you’ve connected.
3. On your iOS device, open Control Center and tap Screen Mirroring . If you don’t see , swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center .

Select your Apple TV from the list.

Assuming you’ve already met the requirements listed above, follow these steps to screen mirror your Apple TV:

1. On your Apple TV, go to Settings > AirPlay > AirPlay Security and make sure that Require Device Verification is turned off.
2. On your iOS device, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open Control Center.
3. Tap Screen Mirroring. Your iOS device will scan for available devices and present a list.
4. Select your Apple TV from the list.

Adjust your display settings.

Your Apple TV should automatically detect the display resolution of your television or projector. If it doesn’t, you can manually adjust the resolution in the Settings menu.

To change the resolution:

Open settings app on your Apple TV.
Go to Audio & Video.
Under Audio & Video, select Resolution.
Choose a resolution from the list.

Tap Done.

Your iOS device will now start looking for available devices to connect to. Once it finds your Apple TV, tap on it to connect. If you’re prompted for a password, enter the one that appears on your TV screen.
