If you’ve forgotten your Apple ID, you can use the iForgot page to reset it. Just enter your Recovery Key and the information you used to register with Apple. If you don’t have a Recovery Key, you can use two other methods to reset your account.
Enter your Apple ID.
If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up.
1. Open the Apple ID website.
2. Click “Forgot your Apple ID?”
3. Enter your first name, last name, and email address.
4. Click “Continue.”
5. Select “How to reset your password.”
6. Click “Continue.”
7. Enter the code that was sent to your email address, then click “Continue.”
8. Enter a new password, then click “Reset Password.”
Select the option to reset your password, then choose Continue.

What to do if you forgot your Apple ID
Go to iforgot.apple.com.
Enter your first name, last name, and email address.

A verification code is sent to the email address you provided.

Enter your Recovery Key for two-step verification.*
If you’ve enabled two-step verification for your Apple ID, you can use your Recovery Key to help you regain access to your account.
Your Recovery Key is a unique code that consists of eight characters. It’s different from the password that you use to sign in to your Apple ID account page. If you don’t have your Recovery Key and you’re unable to receive a verification code, you’ll need to reset your two-step verification.
You can find your Recovery Key in the following places:
– On a printed backup of your key that you received when you turned on two-step verification
– In the Settings app on an iOS device that’s already signed in to your Apple ID
– In the Finder on a Mac that’s already signed in to your Apple ID

To retrieve your Apple ID using your email address:
1. Go to iforgot.apple.com.
2. Enter your email address and choose Continue.
3. If you see a message that says “Account not found,” make sure that you entered the correct email address for your Apple ID. If you forgot which email address is associated with your Apple ID, we can help you find it.
4. Choose Resend if you didn’t get an email from Apple or need to identify which of your other accounts is associated with that Apple ID.
5. Check your inbox for the verification email and follow the instructions in the message to reset your password and gain access to your account information.

1. Go to iforgot.apple.com and enter your Apple ID in the box labeled “Apple ID.”
2. Click Continue, then choose how you want to reset your password:
– Get an email: An email will be sent to the address associated with your Apple ID that includes a link you can use to reset your password.
– Answer security questions: You will be asked a series of security questions that you previously set up, and if you answer them correctly, you will be able to reset your password.

3. Follow the instructions on the screen until you see the message that says Your Apple ID has been reset. Then click Continue and enter the new password in both the “New Password” and “Confirm New Password” fields.
Try to sign in with your current password.
If you can’t sign in with your current password, send yourself a password reset email.
